“Excellent location! Right on the beach in a short distance into old town. All the amenities needed and staff were so friendly and helpful.”

“It was a modern comfortable property. The pool was clean bright and inviting. The living accommodation had all those amenities that one would expect for a relaxing holiday. There is no washing machine and it would have been nice to have but it looks like this is common in Crete. The coffee machine in our room was not working and the shower was the only room that needed more attention. But none of these would make us not wanting to revisit and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to……

“Sehr einfaches Haus , Privatspähre auf Aussenbereichen nicht gegeben , da die Zimmer sehr eng und ohne Abtreung verbunden sind, Pool im Innenhof sehr klein , maximal 8 Liegen , Zimmerservice okay, Handtuchwechsel alle 3 Tage, Sonntag kein Zimmerservice , Frühstücksbuffetbereich räumlich viel zu klein, Gedecke müssen selbst aufgetragen werden und abgeräumt werden, deshalb waren wir in dem 3 W8chen nur 2x dort, Zufahrt zum Hotel äusserst steil ....alles in allem sollte man wissem , dass das Haus……

“Pro: bel giardino sul retro. Aria condizionata in una camera. Forno a microonde. Cassetta di sicurezza. Prezzo casa conveniente. Padrone di casa molto disponibile e presente in loco Contro: casa buia essendo a livello più basso della strada. Piastra elettrica funzionante ma molto vecchia. Gli infissi da ristrutturare, porta d'ingresso non si chiudeva bene. La prima camera senza finestra e senza aria/ventilazione”

“The room was clean and towels and linen changed every other day. The staff were amazing and helpful. We didn’t use the pool area as was up and out every morning. All in all it was a lovely hotel and everwhere for us was within walking distance. Having the supermarket next door was a plus, couple of minutes walk to the beachfront, cafes and bars. ”

“Put simply, the experience feels entirely disconnected from guests' needs. Many of the choices seem to have been made without considering the people who actually use the rooms. For example, upon entering, a coffee set was placed squarely in the middle of the table, leaving no space to use the surface. The desk drawer handles are oversized and protrude into the body of the desk. Opening them reveals empty interiors, which seems unnecessary and thoughtless.”

“We stayed at the Pela Mare Hotel for two nights, and it was a wonderful choice. We arrived late for check-in, and the manager, Giorgos, was waiting for us. He showed us to our room and even helped with our heavy luggage. The hotel is located on the hill. Our room had a beautiful sea view, and we spent our evenings on the balcony watching the lights of distant ships moving across the water, as well as the stunning changing colours of the sea and the charming coastal town.
