"The riverfront estate was beautiful! We spent seven days of our 12-day trip at this location and wilI say that it will have a lasting impression on our wonderful trip. The estate was clean and well-kept with local flowering plants and fresh fruit all around. The river patio was the best place to have our morning coffee and listen to the birds and watch the fish jumping around us. Alexxis was a great host and made things easy for us to enjoy our stay. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Fiji. We will be back!!!"

"The villa is in a nice neighborhood and very close to grocery stores and a restaurant. The host was gracious enough to provide close by activities and hidden gems. The place is big and has an in law unit across the pool that my teenage daughter enjoyed her privacy in. The only improvement I'd suggest is to have an AC unit in the main living area."

"Beqa Lagoon Resort was an absolutely phenomenal experience for us. The location is beautiful and relaxing, the prepaid meal plan (3 meals a day) is delicious, and all the activities the resort put on are fun and engaging. The diving was enjoyable, but the highlight was definitely the shark dives. The dive team are well informed and are able to provide good insight into the nearby shark population and their place in the ecosystem. Despite all of the above, the thing that makes Beqa Lagoon such an amazing experience is the staff who work there. They all do such an amazing job, and truly live by the mantra that it is your 'home away from home'. Everything about our experience at this place was phenomenal."

"Well…from the moment we arrived to the day of departure, the level of service we received was truly first class. We arrived in the late afternoon & was exhausted from all day travelling. Grant (one of the hosts) was so accommodating organising some light refreshments brought to our room. Speaking of the room, I was truly in awe & close to crying from the shear beauty of the very ample bure & the large window which frames perfectly the plunge pool. The room itself & the surrounding vegetation made for incredible privacy without any loss of the ocean view. The bure we stayed in, number 11, was cleverly positioned away from neighboring bures. You could totally go naked without the notion someone was watching. I really felt at peace at the Royal Davui. The resort does not have TVs in the room, which is terrific, as it minimizes any foreign distraction to your stay. Meals are all included, except for alcoholic drinks, & you will not go hungry, I also liked how the resort brings the menus at breakfast for both lunch and dinner. So you would order what you wanted for lunch and dinner at breakfast. The staff were superb, & you would get to know them on a first name basis. Nothing was too much trouble. Overall, no other island resort compares to that of the Royal Davui. Attention to detail in the presentation of meals & service is what sets the resort apart. Put simply, on departure at just after 6am, both hosts Grant & Chris saw us off & you really felt you were leaving family"

"This was a beautiful property, although it is a bit dated it felt very clean and tidy with plenty of space. It was a great location about a good 3 hours drive from the airport so you see a lot of Fiji ( mind the potholes). It is a 5 minute walk to the village. It had everything you needed soap ( bring your own shampoo), washing machine powder, everything we needed in the kitchen, pool towels,, bath towels, etc. There is a lady that comes in a couple of times during our week stay and she changed our sheets and does any tidying you ask. She is lovely and very accommodating. The check in and out was as simple as a lock box and great instructions from owner and property manager. Wifi was good. Within a 5 minute walk there are two resorts, The Pearl and Fiji Palms who are both very welcoming and we used Fiji Palms as our resort. We booked trips through them, used their beach access, used their bar and restaurant. They remember our names and treated us like guests."
