My room was dirty. There were no washcloths and there was some mold on the walls. We had a platform bed and the mattress didn’t extend the full width of the platform. You can see the mold in the box spring.

My stay at Central Hotel Panama Casco Viejo was absolutely amazing! The old-world Central American architecture was charming and added so much character to the experience. The rooftop pool was glorious, offering the perfect place to relax and take in the surroundings. The staff was attentive, warm, and personable, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious and wonderfully varied, and each morning we enjoyed trying something new. Live music each day enhanced the atmosphere, adding another special touch to the charm and ambiance of this beautiful hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning! 💜

My girlfriend and I stayed at the RIU Plaza Panamá from August 27 to August 31, and we had a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. We loved the hotel, its facilities, and its welcoming atmosphere. Its central location was especially convenient, making it easy for us to explore Panama City and access restaurants, shopping areas, and other attractions. Overall, the RIU Plaza Panamá provided an excellent setting for our vacation. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly choose this hotel again on a future visit to Panama City. We highly recommend it to couples, business travelers, and anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel.

The hotel is in a great location close to everything and connected to megapolis outlets mall. However the staff at Decapolis must do better , we were provided two rooms one of which the thermostat could not be changed to make the temperature comfortable therefore my parents room (seniors by the way )remained freezing so unfortunately my mother developed a cold even with assistance from one of the staff to fix the issue , the rooms were not provided with washcloths or irons although there was an ironing board we had to request both items and initially I was told they would be “provided shortly “I had waited an hour and never received it which resulted in me having to go down to the front desk to request and was told again verbally I would receive them this time , after explaining I was already told this information prior an hour ago when I called the front desk . The breakfast buffet was just okay , not as much variety as I thought there would. The temperature of the food was not hot enough and majority of our stay the tables offered to us were never cleared off of the previous customers plates so we often needed to wait over 15 mins at times while already seated for it to be cleaned which made no sense. Staff seems very unorganized . This hotel is not luxury and needs a lot of work as far as renovations lastly there’s a moldy smell that lingers from the bathrooms. I don’t plan to stay again unfortunately, stay at the Riu, Hilton or in Casco Viejo
