The deck is great for relaxing and watching the water and watching Sunsets. The house has a stairs that go right down to the bay. Perfect spot for kids to play in the water, go a little further out front and catch your own clams . for those of you with your own boats , jet skis, ect you can come right up to the house unload and anchor right out in front of the house depending on how much water your boat draws The ocean beach is a short 5 minute walk away sandy and the perfect spot for the kids to play. Very spacious and clean home with all the amenities. Just a short walk to the ocean. The kayaks , paddle boards and paddle boat were so much fun for the kids as well as adults. John Prudenti was only a phone call or text away and stopped by to drop off an extra propane tank for bbq, real great guy we would without a doubt rent this house again. Oct 14, 2012 #### So much better than expected My friends and I (12 in total) stayed at the house over Columbus Day weekend. This was an absolutely fantastic property and location. Large enough to sleep everyone comfortably (though some of us needed to share rooms) - the huge living room and dining table are a great touch. Waking up every morning, it was a great feeling to have my morning coffee on the large deck with the bay rolling right up onto the beach beneath me. And at dusk, because the house is on the bay and west facing, the sun would actually set over the water - I've only seen that on my trips to the West Coast. This area of Fire Island is fairly remote and has the secluded feeling of staying in a cabin in the woods. Probably not the best if you want a wild bar crawl type weekend, but perfect for spending a weekend with friends/family and entertaining yourself. Lastly, what really sold me on selecting this property was the owner. John Prudenti really went out of his way to accommodate us and was excellent to communicate with. My family and I really enjoyed staying at this spacious home that had a great lay-out. Very cozy. The best views, no matter what time of day. My 2 sons enjoyed the Bay so much, we only visited the Ocean side a few times. The Kayak and the bay were the big hit for them. The outdoor deck was awesome, very spacious!
