8.2/10 Very Good! (246 reviews)
Three nights in a one-bedroom apartment. We phoned three days ahead as the listing asks; staff said it wasn't necessary and to just turn up. We arrived at 16:00 to an empty site, and only our third call got an answer — check-in took about 20 minutes.
Parking is plentiful and partly covered, but cars double-park and you can end up blocked in; we parked on the street with no trouble. The apartment was equipped as described and everything worked — though towels are not supplied and the hair dryer costs extra, neither of which is clear from the listing.
Upkeep is where it falls down: flaking plaster on the balcony, water damage to the bathroom door, a kitchen tap that rocks because it isn't fixed to the counter, a seized drinking-water tap, dirt and green algae where the gutters discharge along the buildings, and poor lighting on the approach after dark.
We would not stay here again.
