“We stayed one night while travelling to South Carolina. The hotel was good. I would like to mention the gentleman at the front desk was excellent: very friendly and extremely helpful with directions.”

“The room was spacious and functional, but a bit dated. The bed was comfortable but not the pillows, way too soft when using just one and two thick if you try to use two to compensate. The walls are also paper thin! You can hear everything from every other room around you, and the hallway. If you are light sleeper make sure to ask to stay as far away from other guests as possible. Breakfast hours are way too limited for a hotel that size and downtown. We were 8 mins late and they didn’t even……

“Super clean and modern, comfortable beds, staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms are well equipped (fridge, coffee and tea) and standard hotel size, one space saving feature is no closet just a small rail will several coat hangers, and no room safe. One suggestion I would love to make is to ask the hotel to supply alternative plant based milks at breakfast. Great stay, would definitley stay at a Microtel again!”

“Breakfast was decent and room was not bad. Room was non-smoking but was likely a refurbished smoking room, with residual odor from past smoking. Odor was not terrible but was a bit annoying. Hotel is near a truck stop, which can be a bit noisy. Having said the above, the room (with king bed) was low price, adequate and a good value for the price.”

“I recently traveled to Winchester, Virginia to participate in a Bishop's Event, i.e., the "Third Winchester Battlefield 5k/10k/Half Marathon" event to raise money for a great charity, i.e., twenty-five percent of any profits scheduled to be received by a charity that provides assistance to medical researchers and/or patients in need of an organ transplant. I thought the Courtyard by Marriot Winchester was a lovely place to stay and I had a day or so to rest up for my event plus also enjoyed……

“The main reason we choose this hotel over all the others in the area was because they offered EV charging, the charger only works for the first “complementary” 30 minutes. After that you can’t use it any more, I had to find a EV chagrin station the next morning. Not a EV friendly place. Breakfast was the run of the mill, plain and flavorless.”
