"We used Snowdonia Mountain Lodge as an overnight rest stop near to a family gathering. We were all really happy with the accommodation, and it was better than we would have expected for the price we paid. Everything was clean, warm, dry and comfortable. Also, there is a small fridge-freezer in the family apartment, which we didn't realise, but could be really useful to know for someone reading this review. As it stands, we plan to stay here again for the next family gathering, so book it now, before we do!"

It’s always a bonus when hotel dining is genuinely enjoyable rather than just convenient, and in this case, it really was. Breakfast the next morning was another highlight, with a wide selection of options available, including well-prepared vegetarian choices. It was fresh, plentiful, and served in a pleasant dining area — a great way to start the day. Overall, this hotel ticked all the boxes for a comfortable and pleasant stay. "Room spacious and comfortable with extras like tea/coffee/water well stocked. Bath was nice to have but also a powerful shower. Food is good although service stops a little early - especially on Sunday. Breakfast very good - all cooked to order."
