“Was just there for one night in one of the smaller rooms, everything was fine, in particular the staff were very frendly and helpful.”

“Location was excellent. Property small but perfect for two and very homely. Porthmadog is a lovely place and very convenient to visit other places. Weather was good which was a plus we really enjoyed our stay.”

“This property has wonderful views. Comfy beds. The floors and log burner were covered in dust. The quilt cover had no presstuds that actually stuck together so during the night the cover was nearly off the quilt which was quite stained. The glass dinning table was definitely not child friendly very easy to knock into the corners for little ones. Although mentioned in the property description the beam going across the entrance to the top bedroom is not comfortable (realise this is structural but……

“Lovely property in stunning location with lovely touches-Prosecco, cake, “emergency meal”, etc My only problem was in terms of getting information about access/key. I think this was because I booked through Hotels.com and the property is principally let through Sykes Cottages so I don’t think anyone would have sent me access information if I hadn’t badgered! Once I got the information it was very straightforward.”

“Clean and spacious for us (couple in late 20s). Good kitchen and cooking space with all utensils provided. The beds were comfy too. The sofas were leather and not very comfortable but we tried to be out and about as much as we could. No towels were provided Because of covid so we had to buy some as all of the information said they would be supplied and we didn’t bring any.”
