A 25-minute drive from the airport, the resort is very modern with an excellent view of the ocean and surrounding property. The room was spacious and clean. The restaurant was very good, and the service was excellent.
That said, there are a few things to point out if you are planning a trip. One part of the resort is under construction, and although the work was quiet, it was unsightly. Second, the resort is fairly isolated, so you have to eat at the one restaurant unless you taxi everywhere. You really can't walk to anything other than one local restaurant -- not entirely unusual for Bermuda.
Finally, although the beach is beautiful, the walk from the rooms to the beach is a major climb up and down! The resort really needs to provide some sort of transportation or elevator because unless you are under 30 and in great physical shape, prepare to be exhausted every time you go to the beach. Also, the ocean is very rough and not good for swimming, but there are three pools that are very nice.
Overall, it's a quiet, beautiful place, but just be prepared to taxi everywhere unless you rent a car, and don't expect the resort to be interactive or provide activities.
