After a little hiccup at check in, the stay was fantastic!! We had a room overlooking the gardens and spent the morning (after the free breakfast) watching a red squirrel running around the trees. The room was clean and had all we needed from kettle to towels, robes and an abundance of pillows. The bathroom was well stocked with essential toiletries and had a separate shower and deep bath. The food was nice and the decor and atmosphere of the old building was lovely! Very relaxing and exactly what we needed.
