  • Riverside Apartment forms part of a historic category B listed building , circa 1850s formally housing Perthshire national history museum offering stunning views overlooking the River Tay towards Kinnoull Hill and beyond. Relax and watch the resident bird and wildlife as the longest longest river in Scotland flows by. Hopefully you are lucky and spot beavers as Perth has the only colony of city centre beavers in the United Kingdom. The first floor apartment is centrally located

    Riverside Apartment is furnished to a high standard throughout with all windows overlooking the River Tay. Wet system central heating.

Lovely property in an ideal location - to visit Perth and the surrounding districts. It was immaculate, exceptionally well furnished, and very comfortable for our five night stay. It was also wonderful to wake up in the morning and look out of the window and across the wide River Tay to the island in the middle and the hill beyond.Marie was an excellent host, was helpful with advice on parking, and had thoughtfully left enough provisions for us to settle in right away, and to celebrate being there!I would recommend the property without hesitation.

The apartment was in a great position with lovely views over the river, and with easy access to the railway station, shops, museums and concert hall. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The extra treats, including prosecco and strawberries, were much appreciated and enjoyed!Riverside was the perfect base for our stay in Perth - thank you!

Marie was lovely. Great comms during the entire stay, before, during and after. Property even better than shown on the website, it exceeded expectations. Bed was amazingly comfortable, there was a chair in the living room which I would happily spend the rest of my life in, looking out over the river. Very central, parking okay outside. As others have mentioned, the fresh flowers, the prosecco, the strawberries were a lovely touch. But, for me, it was more the supply of basics which really made it special. I can't recommend this property enough, the best I've ever stopped in. Thank you Marie.

Lovely Apartment on the River Tay

We stayed for 10 nights and can’t say enough good things about the accommodations. The building itself is stunning and almost 200-years old, but the apartment itself is modern and spacious with everything we needed. Check-in was straightforward and the host provided beautiful fresh flowers and a bottle of prosecco—what a nice touch! The location is ideal for catching a train for day trips to many locations in Scotland, i.e. Edinburgh, Glasgow, Crieff, St. Andrews, etc. Perth itself is lovely and there is lots to explore, including an amazing museum. Be sure to cross the river where you will find beautiful paths with heather gardens.
