Riverview actually doesn’t have a view directly to the river but its location is excellent. You can easily walk to both Kings Park and into the Elizabeth Quay precinct for restaurants and touristy areas. The waterfront there is pretty with a bridge over the river. The room was fine with a small balcony to enjoy. The Cafe downstairs is excellent and very popular. They do a great coffee and have a good selection of breakfast/brunch/lunch options. I also enjoyed having a laundry onsite too.

The room we had was spacious with a balcony, it was a lovely area & great to be able to sit outside. Our beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows & extra blankets. Both the reception staff we encountered were professional & helpful.

The room was clean and comfortable. I had a late flight, and the hotel made the check-in process easy by organising the key in an outside locker, which was really convenient. Communication was great throughout my stay. There’s also a café inside the hotel, which was very convenient, and the location is close to Kings Park. Overall, a great place to stay, especially if you arrive late.

Location to the CBD was great. Also very close to public transport. Unfortunately there was limited in-house Restuarant hours eg no dinner meals and the seating area appeared to be dark. Otherwise general maintenance required to the bathroom door that has a very loose hinge making it difficult to shut / open the door. The bedside lamp flickers intermittently. Apart from that we would stay again as the price suited

Although the river view has long been built out, we enjoyed a comfortable stay at Riverview Mount Street. We loved the proximity to King’s Park, the short walk to the city and the quality of the cafe below. The room was large, the bed comfortable and the more recent outdoor balcony a tasteful addition.
