Jungle towns along the main road 401. Except for the tourist areas, very Thai, and that's good. I've chosen to call each limestone peaks a "phanom" - it's a nice collection of associations.

I really loved my stay at Khaosok River Home Resort. It's isolated, surrounded by mountains and a river, the little homes are cut and the open dining room is perfect!

Wow! What a view! The most amazing view from any hotel we have stayed in. Love every second of being there. Stayed one night in the lake for boat trip and then 2 nights here to enjoy a day chilling around the pool and soaking up every second on that spectacular jungle view!
