clean but empty--no amenities provided

Posted Jan 14, 2017
Pros: Clean
Cons: provide things travelers need and use
Location: close to turnpike
Room was clean and comfortable, but for a place named "extended stay" I expected what I found at the Towne Suites, namely plates, utensils, pots & pans, etc. Nor were there any motel things provided, like the little soaps or shampoos, which would have been nice to have on hand after I used the bathroom immediately upon arrival. Luckily, I was only staying one night, so it did not matter. But I would not book a stay at this kind of hotel again, and I do not recommend that you do.

We appreciate your review and thank you for your feedback. We certainly apologize for any miscommunication regarding our dishware policy. Our front desk team makes every effort to communicate details on our amenities during check-in, and it appears as if we failed to share information on the availability of our dishes. To ensure cleanliness for every guest, we keep the dishware at our front desk and our team is happy to deliver them to the guest's suite as well as many other items, including toiletries. We have shared your comments with our team for improvement. We hope you will reconsider and we have the opportunity to welcome you back to our hotel soon. Sincerely, General Manager

Top Notch.

Posted Dec 16, 2016
Pros: Room Amenities. The Kitchen.
Cons: The room door was loud when it shut. The room door had a big gap at the bottom of the door that let noise in.
Location: Would be nice to have a hotel bar since theirs nothing in walking distance. To prevent guests from driving impaired.
Very clean. Full Refrigerator. Stove. Microwave. Plenty of kitchen cabinets. I Could live here.

Smelled horrible. Disgusting.

Posted Dec 8, 2016
Smelled like a cross of mildew and marijuana. Disgusting and gross. The staff could not even put pillow cases on the pillows. There was not a single cup for water in the whole room. Never recommend.

Nice staff but under-staffed

Posted Nov 30, 2016
Pros: Good location for our needs.
Cons: More staff and units updated
We were very disappointed with the overall experience. The hotel staff is mostly friendly and pleasant, but it is under-staffed, especially the cleaning staff. We were supposed to get cleaning service once every 7 days. When we checked in we picked Wed for our day. No one came Wed, the desk said it was Thur. The next week no one came Wed or Thur. Our bathroom was cleaned 2x and our floor vacuumed 2x in 5 weeks! I would go down and change out sheets and towels at the front desk and clean my own bathroom and kitchen. It felt more like an old timeshare than a hotel. It needs a remodel and a good cleaning! The staff was good!

Too many wrongs in one night.

Posted Nov 15, 2016
I booked a room for one night. Checking in Was quick. The room itself was clean overall. Somewhat outdated but clean. There's a kitchenette in the room with a fridge which is good. You're supposed to request pots and pans to use but let me ask - why do I need to request a cup? There were no cups to drink out of. On top of that there was one set of towels in the bathroom. As I was checking in another gentleman was complaining about another guest with unruly children. As it turns out, a lot of the guests there were just loud and didn't care about anybody around them. Not the hotel's fault but...around 5:30 in the morning I hear a loud sound, and it keeps waking me up for hours. At first I couldn't tell what it was but I realized it was somebody's DOG CRYING. This dog cried for three hours straight almost. He finally began to scratch at the door and ultimately got out of the room and began wandering the halls. He also defecated in he hallway in front of another room. Due to the poor night's sleep we decided to check out early to get out of there. When we checked out, one of the attendants was very pleasant and offered a 20% discount (which I couldn't get because I booked through Expedia) but the gesture was appreciated. The other woman had a nasty attitude with me and Thought the whole ordeal was funny in between her sarcastic tone. I will never go back here and I don't suggest it. Don't let the low prices fool you.

Location: It's in a business park so nothing is within walking distance but driving somewhere isn't bad.
To start with when we arrived everything was fine. Smooth easy check in, room was clean when we got there. The next morning when we went to shower the floor mat over the tub was wet, the shower had no inner liner so every shower soaked the floor. We had a kitchen but no dishes, or coffee pot, you have to pay extra for that. The room is not cleaned daily, trash has to be put at the end of the hall for pick up. Towels are not changed and neither are sheets. Only two pillows in the room and they only have enough for each room to have two so if you ask for more they take them from a vacant room. The hot water went out on a Friday night and they had no idea when it would be back or what happened. It was still out most of Saturday morning. No one could tell us when it would be back or what was being done to remedy the situation either. They all said the manager is aware and that's it. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and I felt like I didn't sleep at all the whole time I was there. The hallways always smelled funny too. The only redeeming quality is they do allow dogs and for the most part the customer service wasn't bad.

Donna, thank you for sharing your experience with us. We appreciate your compliments on our staff and are happy you appreciate our pet-friendly hotel. However, we are sorry to hear the services and amenities at our extended stay facility were not what you expected. We provide housekeeping services on a weekly basis for a more homelike environment; however, these services are always available upon request for a nominal fee. Our staff should have informed you our dishes and cookware are available upon request with our front desk staff, and can be delivered to your suite if desired. We apologize for the problem with the hot water and assure you we work to make repairs such as this as quickly as possible. We hope you will consider giving us a second chance the next time that you are in this area. Sincerely, General Manager

Not an extended stay but still great!

Posted Nov 8, 2016
Location: There's lots of plazas with dozens of food options. The King of Prussia mall isn't too far and its a fairly easy drive into Philadelphia as well.
The hotel was great, lots of parking, big room with all the amenities you could really need. The only issue we had was there was no hot water Saturday morning. I'm sure it was just a one time thing but after speaking with the front desk I was told I would get a call back and never received such. Got back to the hotel by 4 and it was back on with no other issues. Overall, a wonderful place with an incredible price!!

Clean, comfortable, spartan

Posted Nov 7, 2016
Location: Upper Dublin/Willow Grove, PA just northwest of US 611 and PA Turnpike interchange, so very close to Willow Grove Mall and short drives to most needs.
Large, very clean room and bathroom, with comfortable bed and side chair, and functional kitchenette. However, entire hotel had no hot water first night and following morning of two-day stay until repaired late in afternoon of first day. Also, had to ask desk staff for any cups, bowls, plates, utensils, etc., wanted for use in kitchenette because not stored in room. Free breakfast consisted only of coffee, tea and commercially wrapped muffins and granola bars. Staff apologetic for lack of hot water but referred all inquiries re financial adjustment to "management." If any, my adjustment would be provided through Expedia, through which I booked my room (along with my flight and rental car). Have not yet heard whether there will be such an adjustment or not.

Hotel from Hell !

Posted Oct 24, 2016
Pros: Not much !
Cons: Better check in and house keeping doing a better job at the check off when room is done.
Well it took 45 min to get a room and the people in line with me told me that they had been in line for hours ! The front desk person "Prince" would just walk away for 15 min or more and the phone would just ring ! I got to the hotel at 6:15 pm and the rooms had not been cleaned house keeping was going up and down the halls cleaning rooms when we got into our room it smelled like fish ! And then we found a dirty town over the shower that smelled ! When we left to go to dinner people were still in line trying to get a room and when we came back the same thing people were cussing and yelling it was not a good thing ! Stay away this place is run very poor. and the house keepers we warring sox not shoes ? May be that is a PA thing but is did not look very good.
