Nice condo-bad parkingPosted Dec 23, 2015
Pros: very nice condo unit, Cleaning crew was very courteous and friendly
Cons: Parking and maps of facility
Location: This is a fairly new area with not much shopping and restaurants near by.
Check in staff did not give us good Maps or driving instructions. Had a garage but cannot get a large car/ van into. Could not park near entrance. Condo very nice and very clean. We were satisfied.

OverpaidPosted Dec 5, 2015
Pros: The Meridian staff in Scottsdale was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Meridian advertises their accommodations as "luxury condo" quality. We got a very good discount thru AARP travel but we were assigned a "third-rate apartment". We could have stayed in a Marriott Residence Inn for the "discounted" price we paid at Meridian and had better accommodations.

Miss leading.Posted Oct 30, 2015
Pros: This was not a hotel.
VERY DISAPPOINTED. Meridian Resort Condo is not a condo at all but a booking service. We paid for a luxury condo and the unit was far from luxury. There was nothing luxurious about it. We booked because the internet pictures looked fantastic and we paid what I think was extra because it said luxury condos. What we ended up with was an ordinary condo sparsely furnished with a pool that could not be used because it was not heated. I felt we were totally deceived. If I was expedia I would reconsider how this is advertised. I would certainly not book through Meridian as you are not sure of what you will get for accommodations. When we travel we expect to get what was booked. If asked why we did not complain at the time, we were on a 4 day vacation and did not have the time to deal with the misrepresentation. We would certainly not book through this company.

Scottsdale Pillars locationPosted Oct 27, 2015
Cons: Remove carpeting. Change balcony seating to plastic wicker furniture from hot iron chairs. Unit needs a thorough cleaning.
Property is 3* . Condo is in a complex where units are rented yearly. Great location for north scottsdale. Pool is not heated in October. Carpeting in unit was badly stained and needs shampooing or removal. Unit came with plenty of towels/ kitchen paper towels and toilet paper. Also dishwashing detergent but no laundry detergent. Balcony had wrought iron chairs and table so impossibly hot to sit on during the day.

Repeat customer, recent stay not so goodPosted Oct 12, 2015
Have stayed at Shade complex before and it was awesome. I truly love this area and the condos but this particle unit had a bug infestation in the master bathroom that we notified the leasing company about. They were great with getting someone out the next day but maintenance claimed there was no visible sign of them even though we had tucked some open spaces in the medicine cabinet to stop, what we think were termites, from coming out. I have never had a problem before but I will definitely be inspecting the units before completely settling in next time, if we choose to stay again.

MISLEADING LOCATION NOT A RESORTPosted Aug 25, 2015
We booked this location relative to several doctor's offices we had appointments scheduled for. As it turns out the address listed is not the resort address -it is the address for the office to pick up keys. The "resort" is an apartment complex being sold as permanent housing. This apartment complex was quite a distance from convenient dining and shopping. Unit was minimally furnished it felt "empty"..i could have stayed at a nicer timeshare resort for this price that is truly a resort. Strange that Expedia would first not list the actual lodging address, secondly list this place as a "luxury vacation" accommodation.

We apologize for confusion. For online reservations, our guest is sent an email confirming details per location of the condos. Condos are located in North Scottsdale near shops & restaurants. Our 1 bedroom condos feature couch & chair but if a guest would like additional furniture, staff can assist!
