However, it would have been nice to have a refrigerator and also an air conditioner since it can get very warm and the ceiling fan alone does not cool the room down. The staff and owners are super friendly and very attentive. "Awesome location for a first time stay in Puerto Viejo. Hotel had what one needed to be comfortable with a little luxury in a hot and muggy climate. The daily included breakfast was very good and presented well. Staff was professional and attentive; especially Marisol at the front desk. "
