“Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. ”

“Purcombe Farmhouse is a gem. It provides comfortable and very well equipped accommodation, suitable for all ages - our family group were aged 66 down to 1yr and we all had a wonderful week there. Lovely gardens to explore and the hot tub was a definite plus later at night! This property is so peaceful and with stunning views, yet only a 10 minute drive from Bridport”

“This was our fourth stay at the cottage and the one thing I can say that we really like is consistency. It is always clean, welcoming and a bit of an oasis in the centre of Shaftesbury. We had a rental car and use of a parking space cannot be overstated in the town. The cottage is cozy and everything works! Its location is also great for the various restaurants and walks around town.There are a couple of new eateries that we tried since our last visit in November 2023. The Kings Arms has...

“We had a wonderful holiday at Wildflower Cottage. It’s a beautiful home, very comfortable and well maintained. The peaceful village had two shops, three pubs and two fish and chip shops all within easy walking distance. The fabulous, samdy Weymouth beach was a short drive and going to sleep to the sound of the seagulls was a real treat. We’ll be back! ”
