"This is a very authentic Tuscany experience. The bed was large and comfortable and so was our entire room, an updated farmhouse type building. Very clean and with all the amenities. The food for breakfast was freshly prepared and excellent. The dining in the evening was absolutely wonderful. This place has a quaint rustic feel. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We loved staying at the Relais so we could drive to wineries and also San Gimignano. Highly recommend!!"

"Great location, easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Owner was very friendly and gave us lots of great information on what to do in the town and in the area. Delicious breakfast with cakes, which were fresh baked every day by the owner. One day it was grape cake with grapes from her garden. Very pleasant and enjoyable place to stay we would definitely go back.

"We stayed as a family and enjoyed the properties facilities including pool swings and outdoor games. The Tuscan dinner was enjoyable with amazing views. Property in convenient to local restaurants and provided a great recommendation list. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return. Great value.
My only suggestion would be to provide some basics on arrival such as tea, coffee, milk. A hairdryer would also be useful."
"This property is lovely. The staff were friendly and welcomed me as I arrived around 6:15 pm and offered a glass of wine and a meal. It was nice to have a pool to cool off at the end of the day. Very tranquil. Their wine is also very good. The property pup, Bella, was the cherry on top of the cake. Such a sweet girl. "

"Beautiful property at an impressively reasonable price. E-Bike rentals on site were perfect to ride to vineyards nearby. The pool was amazing and the staff. The on site restaurant might have been my best meal in Italy! I would stay again in a heartbeat!"
"Poggio Alle Lame is a superb find. Incredibly warm and welcoming host and team, comfortable rooms, with air con, WiFi and all that jazz. It’s quiet, peaceful and rustic.
If you’re looking for ultramodern glass and chrome - keep looking! But if you’re looking for comfortable, stylish, authentic Italian country hospitality, look no further.
The setting is beautiful, a quiet hill top not far from a small town. There’s a fine, shady terrace to take breakfast and the fabulous home cooked dinners. Try the wine and oil produced on the estate.
There’s a pleasant pool with loungers, shades, fine views over the Tuscan hills or just watch the lizards frolicking and basking.
It’s 45 mins to downtown Firenze and about the same to Siena.
A special word about Beatrice - owner and host. She’s fabulous, a forza of nature and an amazingly attentive and welcoming host.

"Lovely, clean, spacious property with private terrace and parking. Large shared swimming pool in lawned garden with plentiful sun loungers and parasols. Within easy driving distance of San Gimignano, Siena and Firenze. Excellent restaurants in village within walkable distance. Hillside views with distant view of San Gimignano.Kind and helpful owners (helpful to know some Italian)."
"Our stay was excellent. Location, location, location. Small town atmosphere while within reach of anywhere you wanted to go in Tuscany. Sylvia was the best hostess! The “feel at home” stay after spending time touring Tuscany is second to none. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to both tour Tuscany and feel like a local living in Tuscany at the same time. And the swimming pool was awesome.
