“We had a lovely stay in Hare's Hideout. It was clean and set in very peaceful surroundings.
Our host Gemma, was friendly and helpful but never intrusive...a perfect balance!
Tea/coffee etc was restocked daily, and bottled water was supplied every day.
Would highly recommend and would definitely return!”
“The view from the room was fabulous! The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay! There are plenty of common spaces inside and outside to spend some time relaxing”
“Beautiful accommodation with lovely gardens you can use. They couldn't have been more lovely. It was a useful base for the Eden project concert we were going to and the lost gardens of Heligan.”
“We had a lovely stay, and the little touches ,we had a gift of prosecco in our room as it was our 30th wedding anniversary, which was a lovely thought.
Liz and Colin were lovely and so generous and just so friendly xx wonderful place to stay ❤️ ”
“A wonderful place to stay. Stefany & Andrew were the perfect hosts. Our room was excellent. A drop of rum was there for us in our room!. Nothing was too much for our hosts. Breakfast was to die for and what a selection to choose from. Everything was freshly cooked and locally sourced. We have already booked for this B&B for next year! Situated in just the right place as a short walk gets you into the middle of Looe. Don't let this B&B pass you by. Book it!!!!”
“We had a fantastic stay wish we had booked longer , few little issues but eric was brilliant and sorted everything out , we would definitely go back . Thank you Eric and Helen you are brilliant hosts .”
“Due to unforseen circumstances we arrived late on our first day, had told Donna and even though it was late she was there to greet us and help with our luggage.
The room was spotless and the view over the estuary beautiful. Breakfast was delicious with thick bacon and sausage from a local butchers.
What we both liked was the attentiveness that Donna gave us and other customers staying there. She would also call each of us by our fist names. Something that just made the stay a bit more……
“Debbie and Peter were fantastic hosts who made us feel extremely welcome. Our room was a good size with plenty of room for all our things plus a travel cot. Breakfast was fantastic- freshly cooked and made exactly how you like plus all the cereals and fruit etc. Great location with the basic shops, pubs and takeaways. Train station within walking distance and just a short drive to Looe and Polperro. ”
“From the very start, an offer to help with our luggage, Andy and Lana were the epitome of a welcoming host and hostess. The "Penarth" was beautifully clean, well kept and our room was very comfortable. The breakfasts were good, freshly cooked and we found them filling. Absolutely no complaints emanate from our stay there and, additionally, we benefitted from the local knowledge which was happily passed on by Andy and Lana.
Would we recommend the Penarth Guest House to others or return there……
