“Beautiful old world building with lovely rooms, bar the bathroom being upstairs.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Food was good especially the breakfast.
Very disappointed that they had a special curry and pint offer where you couldn't have and alternative drink and when we ordered the curry anyway we were charged £20 without the beer wheras it was £15 with the beer!”

“It's a great location and reasonably well finished as a room. As it is a pub in a coastal area I expected local noise and from the pub but they were both quiet. The issue is the deliveries for the pub that started at 5am on both days. Unless you have military grade ear protectors you will be woken up. Stayed for two nights, and booked a room for three but only two of us attended. As gesture I asked the manager for a credit for the two breakfast they would not serve that I paid for as part of the……

“This is a very busy property and we felt the need of more immediate attention to our needs. This is not a property to be negotiated by the elderly. We had suitcases. We wished we had some prior notice/suggestion to repackage our necessities for portage down the hill from the car park to the property. The charm of this place is offset by the difficulty accessing it. We loved the views, the side alleys and the architecture but this is not a walkable venue for anyone with hip, knee or foot……
