Great hotel overlooking Fistral beach with its own on-site surf school. Great amenities, food, facilities and staff. We stayed with teenagers during half-term so it was very busy but the staff were excellent from reception to breakfast. The teenagers had surf lessons and the school staff were very helpful. Shout out to Isaac the surf instructor who was brilliant.

Frequently asked questions

Is Polperro better suited for a beach vacation or a cultural trip?
Polperro is primarily an outdoor and nature destination, well-known for its scenic beaches and coastal walks. A Polperro vacation offers ample opportunities for enjoying the seaside, with options like Polperro Beach, about a 10-minute walk from the center, or the larger Looe Beach, about 8 miles away.

Beyond its natural beauty, Polperro also has a rich history as a fishing settlement dating back to the 13th century. Travelers can explore Polperro Harbour, about a 5-minute walk from the village center, or visit the Polperro Model Village, also about a 5-minute walk, which showcases local myths and legends. This blend makes a Polperro vacation package suitable for those seeking both coastal relaxation and a glimpse into Cornish heritage.
How can I save money on a Polperro vacation package?
When you bundle, you can save up to 30%*. To save money on a Polperro package, consider traveling during the quieter months or be flexible with your dates to find more options. Bundling your flights and hotel together often unlocks savings compared to booking separately. *Members only. Savings vary.

Do you need to rent a car in Polperro, or is public transport enough?
For a Polperro vacation package, a rental car offers the most flexibility, especially for exploring beyond the immediate village. While Polperro itself is very walkable, with the main village area about a 10-minute walk from the parking lot, and local transport like a horse and cart or a converted milk float available for short trips, a car allows you to easily reach other scenic spots.

Many of Polperro's beautiful beaches and natural attractions, such as Looe Beach about 8 miles away or Talland Bay about 3 miles away, are best accessed by car. For travelers booking Polperro vacation packages with flights who wish to explore the wider Cornish coast, including other charming towns and Polperro beach vacation packages, a rental car is highly recommended.
Can I change or cancel my Polperro vacation package if my plans change?
Yes, you can cancel your vacation package via your itinerary page on Expedia or by contacting customer service. Remember that some packages are fully refundable, but the details vary based on each unique booking. A fully refundable package may depend on how far out from the travel dates you're canceling and what airline you are traveling with.

Yes, members who join our free One Key™ travel rewards program can instantly unlock additional savings and save 10% or more on over 500,000 stays worldwide with Member Prices and over 1 million car rentals.

How does free cancellation work on Polperro vacation packages?

Many bookings allow free cancellation up to a stated deadline (often a few days before travel) where eligible. Read the cancellation terms carefully when reviewing the package, and visit Expedia help center for further details.
