You can waste hours just sitting and watching the ebb and flow of the tide! Great food at the local pub which is about 30 seconds walk away!"

"Mabel's Cottage is a lovely stone cottage just right for two.With stunning views (when you can see it through the rain!!! Typical bank holiday weather.) Plenty of free entertainment from the birds at the bird feeder. Thank you John and Wendy for a great short stay."

"A beautiful little cottage, which was really well equipped, we had everything we could need, especially as the weather wasn’t kind ! A lovely hamper to greet us with homemade DELICIOUS jam; and even treats for our dogs… Lesley and James are close by should you need anything & they even helped us out with a pot of sugar that we’d forgotten… Polperro is a MUST visit nearby, beautiful little fishing village with some lovely shops and restaurants…. Bodmin prison also worth a visit our friends...

"The house has a view of the River Fowey from the living room and the MBR! The house is beautifully furnished and decorated with COMFORTABLE couches and beds. We slept like babies here! It is at the end of the little town of Fowey near the car park ( very convenient if you have a car). Being in Fowey is like going back in time.. it is beautiful, with only one tiny one way street. No car noises! Wonderful restaurants, shops, grocery stores nearby for cooking at the house in the lovely kitchen....

"What a beautiful place to be for our wedding weekend. I've walked past this gorgeous home a lot over the last 11 years, and have dreamed of staying there. And this was the perfect opportunity. Lots of space and light, with a fabulously romantic feel. Perfect for the pre wedding fish and chip supper gathering of our nearest and dearest, delightful for me and my bridesmaid to be pampered in, and exactly what we needed to wind down in after our weekend of celebrations in the village. "We genuinely cannot recommend this cottage enough. It is a beautiful property, with stunning gardens. The house was spotless and had everything you could need. It's much bigger in real life than it seems in the photos and felt very spacious for four of us. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We are so grateful to have found this property last minute - it really is a gem. Absolutely will be coming back!!!!"
