The perfect house in a perfect location

"I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful house and its host Stefano. The 3 bedroom 2 bath house was perfect for my family of 5. As soon as we walked in, my kids eyes lit up with amazement. This 500 year old house was a dream come true. The location is in the old town of Arezzo which is a perfect location for day trips around Toscana. Everywhere you want to visit is 1 hour drive or less. Stefano was the perfect host and helped us with wine tour reservations and gave my family a private cooking lesson that was so much fun..and delizioso! If you are looking for the perfect home away from home in the heart of Toscana, this is it."

Our Amazing 3 Weeks in Poppi, Tuscany!

"We had so much fun at this charming farmhouse villa! Our host/owner, Gianfranco, was so accommodating, and his response time was quick. He helped us find a driver for some trips that we did around Tuscany. He found us a wonderful chef that came to us twice for real Italian cooking classes. The house was spacious and fit our friends and family well. We brought our grandchildren and Gianfranco provided a crib & highchair. The property was absolutely beautiful & the history of the family is so interesting. We felt immersed in the Poppi culture, and the small shops in town welcomed us with open arms. The weather was a little colder than we expected so we needed layers in the morning and during the night. We made amazing memories and plan to return! Thank you Gianfranco and Poppi!"

"We stayed 4 nights. The staff was lovely , friendly and helpful. Arezzo has a beautiful compavt, interesting old city with MANY beautiful chirches and museums and they are all a short walk from Hotel Portici. You are also a short walk from the train station. It is as advertised meant to be an old fashioned spot and it is but the bathroom has everything modern and works perfectly. We recommend this place to anyone who is NOT looking for a spiffy modern cubic impersonal spot!"

"A cosy place to stay in Tuscany about 30 minutes out of Florence. Super friendly staff and free parking, plus supermarkets close by. Great for self-drive holiday. Unpleasant smell in bathroom possibly from blocked pipes and we couldn't get the air-conditioner working so was challenging to get to sleep as it was warm inside and couldn't leave the window open due to mosquitos. Part of a winery with lovely Tuscan views and farm animals on the property. Overall we enjoyed our stay."
