I really liked how we were able to safely walk to some restaurants that we did like which was limited. The quality of meat is poor in this area overall. We enjoyed the daily hot made to order breakfast in the cafe and TONYA was amazing!!! The front desk staff was also very nice. We didn’t enjoy how loud the housekeepers were in the hall which actually woke us up out our sleep as they were just having a very loud casual conversation not being considerate of the guests. We had to keep a cooler in our room as my husband is diabetic and require for his meds to remain refrigerated. There is no refrigerator or microwave in the room which is extremely disappointing because with little effort it could be added as the space is available for it. The power went out which sucks because how does an establishment of this size not have a generator with adequate enough voltage to carry on business as usual during a storm. As a result one of the elevators was out of service for about 48 hours and we had NO AC.

Overall a great stay. We were unable the clear the flashing message light on the phone, so covered with a towel. The bathroom had a vent fan that you could not shut off, so it acted like a white noise generator all night. No major gripes. I would stay there again, and do recommend it!

There seemed a lot of vagrants around the property. It was near impossible to find. A totally non-distinct building. The breakfast was passable, but the carpets looked like they had not been cleaned in a long time. The reception area was mostly unattended and when it was the people were scary to look at.

The rooms in the hotel are compact and efficient for a quiet, comfortable location to stay while exploring Port Huron. The king size bed was very comfortable. The room was clean a furnished with ultra-modern decor. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

This is a very nice hotel in downtown Port Huron where everything is right there! The only thing that I could comment on that needs improvement is the continental breakfast could be better. Very nice staff!

Staff were amazing both at check in and out. The conversion of the historic national bank is superbly done. The hotel has a lovely shop managed by the lovely Jennifer who will find you what you need. I spent 2 nights in March 2024 and will certainly come back to City flats in Port Huron instead of staying in Troy or downtown Detroit

The room was nicely done are provided ample room for me and my three friends. The staff were friendly and the parking was right behind the building. We were able to walk right downtown to bars and restaurants. I would recommend if you need a place in downtown Port Huron,

decent for the price
The room was very clean, the bathroom was sufficient. The layout of the room was a bit odd, and it was smaller than I expected, with the long hallway and the king sized bed taking up the majority of the room space. I would have appreciated a fridge in the room. I also had some issues with the noise from the street level, since I was on the street side of the hotel.

Loved it! Clean, funky modern room with comfortable bedding (mattresses are on the soft side). So quiet compared to chain hotels with pools out on Water St. that have kids running the halls at 11:30. Floors are uncarpeted so maybe chilly feet in winter if bathroom is on exterior wall. Parking on deck attached to back is convenient; we had trouble navigating to front desk because of how building is chopped up between the original bank and the new addition.

Newly renovated historical small town hotel. Many walkable options including a new conservation walk along the lake. Hope for this town’s future with the vibe of young people pushing forward in the surrounding restaurants

We stayed in Early September on our way to Niagara Falls. Our room was not cleaned. Staff admitted that they had someone quit and were challenged to get things done. Simply gave us a sheet to cover the old sheets that were not cleaned. Many many calls to management regarding this terrible experience have gone unanswered. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Great Place
Everything was great. Clean, timely check in, extremely friendly staff. Had a great stay. My only suggestion is to possibly leave one of those multi cord universal phone chargers in the rooms.
