  • Bring your boat or rent nearby and pull up to your own dock. Five minutes on main canal to the Gulf of Mexico. Caged Heated Swimming pool and spa
    Cathedral ceilings in living area with a cozy sunken conversation area with wood burning fireplace.
    Huge master bedroom, with king bed and a wood burning fireplace. One queen bedroom and one with twin beds; another has twin bunk beds. house has 4 bedroo.s and sleeps 8 people
    New remodeled eat-in kitchen. Your own Tiki bar and game room . Nicely landscaped with front and back terraces and tropical fruit trees.
    You can fish off the dock (4 fishing poles provided) and sometimes catch a glimpse of dolphins or manatees swimming by.
    Hernando Beach is a small town in rural Hernando County. where you will not find throngs of tourists, You can bike, walk ,fish in the 11,000 acre Weeki Wachee Preserve's trails, lakes and beautiful landscape. Two bicycles are provided and the entrance to Weeki Wachee Preserve bike trails and a few blocks away.
    Rent a kayak and paddle the Weeki Wachee River. Pine Island Beach is nearby and there is great fishing in Linda Pederson Park Visit World famous Weeki Wachee Springs Park, home of the mermaids with its beautiful water park.
    Only 40 minutes from Tampa Bay and one and a half hours from Disney Orlando. Great local restaurants dot the area.

While we enjoyed our 3 night stay there were issues with the house. The location was good, there was alot of room in the house for the 6 of us. But the dishwasher didn't work. The pool area was not clean. There were German roaches all over the kitchen. We threw away alot of food because we didn't want to chance the possibility of the roaches getting into the food. The owner did say the dishwasher was being fixed and she was getting the bug guy in there to spray the house. But that wasn't much help to us on our vacation.

Best vacation yet!

Loved this place, near shopping, golfing, kayaking, walking, Robert's Smokin'BBQ, everything! Beautiful sunsets nearby. The pool and spa are fabulous.

Great Relaxing Stay

We enjoyed the waterfront atmosphere and community. The pool and hot tub were amazing. Thebhome is well equipped and very comfortable. The host Linda is a pleasure to deal with.

Family fun

The kids had an awesome time.for the most part Everything was really clean. More then enough space for the family to be comfortable plenty of things todo I’d recommend definitely had a good vacation

Close to the mermaids

The house was as described. It was able to accommodate our family. We chose this location to be close to the park. It is a walkable neighborhood, which was great for our dog.

Good bang for your buck

Cute home… very spacious… awesome pool and dock… air conditioner is a little undersized for the house but owner was wonderful about getting someone there to fix it… kitchen is a little small and needs more pots and pans… we would stay here again… Linda is great!

Guys trip

Let me start by saying Linda was a great host, she was very responsive and answered my text very quickly and worked on solving any issues that we had, the house was great for a guys trip, house on the water ( we had a boat), hot tub & pool and plenty of living space, it is a little dated but overall a great place!! Thank you Linda!!

Family time

We enjoyed the family time on the water as well as the pool at the home. Loved the property manager she was so sweet and accommodating. Only down side was having to vacate for 2 nights and pay extra for motel room because of mandatory evacuation. But overall enjoyed it very much.

Hernando beach

Loved the location, but house was in need of some TLC. Lighting issues and ceiling fans were addressed by us once we arrived. Pool and hot tub were great once the heating issue was addressed. Linda did promptly respond to my questions.

Nice house

The house was very nice but needed some tile floor repair in a few spots in kitchen and living room. They need a new king size mattress. Linda was quick to respond and fix any thing that she could. All considered with 2 hurricanes it may have been listed prematurely. I’m sure Linda will get everything repaired.

Great family vacation with grandma, kids and dog.

We had a wonderful stay with the family! The pool and hot tub were the best and we were there most days and most hours of the day! Fishing off the dock was great! We rented a pontoon boat for the day and docked it right in the back then went out to the flats for a fun excursion. Everything we needed including towels, linens, dishware and utensils were included. Linda checked in with us to make sure we arrived okay and answered our text when needed. I read some mixed reviews about the place being a bit rough around the edges and that may be true, but it is an older home; retro at this point, and I believe is priced appropriately. It definitely did not take away from our experience, in fact the retro feel was pretty cool. We are all already daydreaming about returning to this awesome spot!

The home was not very clean when we arrived, and we ended up having to do some cleaning ourselves. One of the bikes advertised had a flat tire, and the fishing poles provided were old and broken, so I would recommend bringing your own if you plan to fish.On the positive side, our dogs absolutely loved the fenced-in yard. The pool was nice, the canal was beautiful, and the area had plenty of cute restaurants to enjoy.

Loved this property! It was great for our family and pets! Everything was comfortable and clean. The access to the ramp and private dock were ideal for visiting the flats. Linda was amazing! Very attentive and accommodating! The screened, heated pool was the perfect cherry on top for our staycation this weekend. Will definitely be back!

Great place to stay

Worked out perfect for a weekend stay after a cruise. It was nice being on the canal and having a pool to relax in. The inside was nice. I was born and raised in springhill and love the houses out in Hernando beach. There’s plenty of room for big families who are traveling. We had 2 adults, 2 17 year olds a 15 year old and a 11 year old. The kids could go take a nap and not be bothered by their siblings. When you go on a cruise you need some relaxation afterwards. And this was perfect and exactly what we needed.
