Chautauqua Harbor Hotel - Jamestown

"We were stopping for a night on the way home from the East coast and chose this hotel. The surrounding neighborhood is a little sketchy but the hotel itself is amazing. It’s VERY clean and well appointed as well as comfortable. The service was excellent and so was the food in the restaurant. The grounds are immaculate. The view of the lake was beautiful. It was a really pleasant surprise. We enjoyed our stay!"

"The staff were very friendly and treated you like family more than just guests. For a hotel near the lake, it wasn't a bad stay. Our room was clean enough where we felt comfortable staying. It was damp feeling when we first arrived but again, we were staying by the lake. We stayed for two nights and they offered a "grab and go" breakfast which was simple things like coffee, cereal, toast and pre packaged breakfast pastries. The second night we stayed, there was a leak in the bathroom which I was told was from the toilet, it supposedly has a cup that needs to be emptied ever so often. Anyways, my only real complaint was that the staff were nowhere to be found in the morning when I needed something. They have a sign up at the desk to pick up the phone and it would automatically call them to signal that someone was at the front desk. But I had been waiting for 15 minutes and no one showed up, not even housekeeping. Overall, I wouldn't expect a clean or well serviced hotel like the Marriott but it serves its purpose as a motel."

"A flashback to the heyday of Americana, the Motel concept. While staying here for the second time in as many years I have noted that our European friends stay here to a get the vibe of all the American movies they have seen from that era. Great community family-friendly; after-all it is where Welches grape juice is made. Plus awesome Italian food is located downtown."

"We were able to check in (about 2 hours) and Nicole was so helpful. We also had an issue with noise from the room next door and Nicole was able to move us to another room. The staff there was so helpful and very pleasant."

"We absolutely loved this cottage! It was so cute and had everything we needed for a fun stay! We loved being isolated away, yet close enough to everything we needed! The vouchers for wine tasting made for a fun afternoon!"

Hideaway Bay Resort

"Hideaway Bay is a great little spot. We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage itself was very clean and nice. The beach is quite rocky so you need shoes to walk around and for the water (especially for little kids). It was great to have access to loungers and umbrellas. The beach bar was delivered food and drinks right to you on the beach, I would suggest putting side tables with the beach furniture so people have a place to put their drink down. The fire at night was lovely, everyone gathered around and the kids roasted marshmallows. The staff was incredibly kind, and accommodating. Really nice to see that! Overall we had a great time."
