Restored building very cool. The $58.00 a day to park was a bit much, but the parking service was excelent.

The stay was ok. Even with the privacy tag on the door, housekeeping would knock once and then just walk in. Also dinning in room. When we weren’t there even if we didn’t request them to pick up food trays that hadn’t been touched they would come in when we were out and take them away. Sounds silly but it happened the entire stay and housekeeping would try 3 or 4 times after saying we didn’t need it ti the same person. Front desk was kind at times. The restaurant staff so bartenders and servers at the Urban Farmer were wonderful. Even dealing with some crap guests. Didn’t even see them flinch. Imagine being a guest somewhere and thinking that because you’re a guest makes you above manners and politeness?! Urban Farmer used to be such a chill spot. Now I feel like I’m at a private school pta function and I’m the new parent in town from the city. It was such a mix of people for so long and there were always interesting conversations to be had. All I seemed to hear this time around was rudeness and privilege.

Hotel was great. Friendly staff. Located close to Powell's bookstore and good restaurants. The area around the hotel was sketchy. Homelessness is a big issue. I would not suggest going out for a walk around the neighborhood in the evening.
