No umbrella’s at pool’s and not available to rent local. Not a real place and have a cup of coffee on the property, only in the tight front desk area. Parking can be an issue at times. The staff that assisted with our luggage since there were no elevators were the best! Don’t go near OOB during the holiday times, it’s a crowded zoo.

It was great staying at the Waves. Had a split room with ocean view. Only complaint was the rain. We will definitely make this a yearly trip.

The pool/ hot tub is adults only after 8 which no one was even in the pool when me hubby and the kids tried going. You come on vacation with your kids and can't use the hot tub after 8.

Property is in a great location, but it’s pretty run down, especially for the price. Very basic amenities, small towels, kitchenette was functional but old. Beach and pool were excellent, though, and it is close to the boardwalk and pier area.

Aside from being a little dated, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Waves Resort. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The warmest pool could have been a little more clean but overall we enjoyed the warmth of it.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Waves hotel and will not stay there again. The floor in our room was so dirty that it turned our feet black. There was wrappers to feminine hygiene products on the ground near the stairs and empty beer cans on the ground. The deadbolt to our room wasn’t operating properly and neither was the lock on the handle. The railing on the balcony was rotten to the point of it being a potential serious injury issue.
