“Clean, comfortable and great location”

“This was a delightful guesthouse in a great location. Each room is themed to a classic movie and director (we were on the top floor in the Vertigo room!) and the rooms are comfortable and clean. If you don’t mind climbing stairs, the view is amazing.”

“Almarela apartments was very cute and spacious. It was not in the middle of all the sites but close enough to most places where walking was very doable. I would recommend this spot if you’re staying in Porto.”

“water pressure for shower is seriously inadequate. restaurant staffs for breakfast are not friendly and not helpful. others are quite good.”

“Friendly front desk, but room cleaning needs improvementThe reception staff were incredibly nice and welcoming, but the housekeeping service definitely needs improvement. A cleaning staff member accidentally broke a cup in our room, but left numerous glass shards all over the floor and even some on the bed, which was quite dangerous. Fortunately, after we reported the issue to the reception, another staff member came immediately and cleaned everything up thoroughly. While the quick resolution……

“Room is big and clean. All well maintain. Staffs are also very friendly. We had an early flight, staffs prepared a breakfast to go box for us. So thoughtful.”

“Nice hotel with great location!”

“What a find! This was a truly excellent place to stay in Porto. Really well positioned, everything was within walking distance. The room was absolutely gorgeous, and huge. It was well stocked with amenities, including a Nespresso machine. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a small continental offering, with eggs cooked to order, perfect for a trip to Porto, as you definitely don't want to fill up on breakfast! I will be recommending this hotel to anyone travelling to……

“A great location for accessing the centre of Porto, and there was a parking garage a block away where we left our rental car during our stay. The room was comfortable, breakfast was provided, and there was some interesting artwork in our room and in the hallways. We also appreciated the main floor room to avoid having to take luggage up and down the stairs. We would have liked to use the chairs in the glassed-in area to sit and have a drink, but the doors to it were locked. Otherwise a great……
