How can I get cheap hotels in Poultney?

Best tips to find a cheap hotel in Poultney

  1. If you're looking to travel to Poultney on a budget, you'll be happy to know that you can find hotels for as low as $96. Of course, that price is affected by amenities, star rating, and even the time of year you visit. At most, hotel prices can be as high as $210. Staying a short amount of time in Poultney is an effective way to reduce hotel costs.
  2. When you cut your vacation down to just a few days, you don't have to worry as much about hotel prices since you don't have that many nights to stay. For budget hotels in Poultney, 3 to 4 days should be all the nights you need. That's generally enough to enjoy the city's top attractions, though there's certainly enough to do to warrant a week-long trip.
  3. When booking cheap hotel rooms in Poultney, it's typically best to book about 3 weeks in advance. Book further in advance than that and you could be paying too much for your room, as hotels will often overestimate future demand. However, if you wait too long, you might find that the hotel has been completely booked.
  4. When you utilize search filters on Expedia, you'll be able to narrow down your results in a flash. These search filters cover a wide variety of factors you may be interested in when it comes to finding a cheap hotel in Poultney, including amenities such as Free Breakfast, 2-star rating, or proximity to local attractions. You can even set filters for price limits to ensure that all the displayed results are within your budget.

The Mountain Inn at Killington

The Mountain Inn at Killington

10/10 Excellent
"Our family enjoyed our one night stay at The Mountain Inn, including our 7 year old kid and our dog. It was nice to find a hotel that was very welcoming to dogs and only charged $35 per night for him, staff were friendly, and we loved swimming outside in the 95 degree heated pool while the temp outside was near freezing, it was amazing. The room was clean and recently renovated, and the grounds and restaurant were on par with what we expected. The restaurant had live music Saturday night and the old fashioned I had with their house made bourbon from their distillery was delicious, while the burger, salad, and Bavarian pretzels were pretty good, and the cheese pizza was not so good but the kid liked it. We enjoyed the view of the nearby mountains, foliage, and short drive over to Thundering Brook Falls. The continental breakfast was included and could have been better, and had we stayed a few more days we would have explored more of the food and shops in the area, as it seems like there were a few. We could probably suggest some upgrades to the game room but we had fun in there regardless. Overall, we liked our stay at The Mountain Inn and found that it met our expectations for the value, and the welcoming staff, heated pool, and accommodations could have my family going back in the future."

8/10 Good
"I asked the girl at check-in for a first-floor room with 2 double beds. I am handicapped in a wheelchair, and she got us exactly what we wanted. Very clean room. Only one light in the room, so kind of on the dim side. The bed was too soft for me. The location was located to all kinds of stores and restaurants. They accept dogs for a small fee, which was great for us and our beloved Harleyquinn. Breakfast was supposed to be between 7 a.m.- 10 a.m., but at 7:15 am when I went to check out, the lobby was not open yet. I believe the worst thing is the parking. I do believe there is more in the back, but the front was pretty packed. I had to wait a few minutes for a truck to move so I could park in front of my room. Would stay here again, especially the price of the room."
