"Loved the beautiful, spacious, vintage style two bedroom apartment with a lovely view of Ljubljana castle. The kitchen was well equipped with a large fridge, microwave oven, stove, cooking utensils, dishwashing liquid, drying rack, cutlery, and chinaware. There were also plenty of charging points around the apartment and the wifi is secure. Despite not offering daily cleaning, we could request complimentary refills of the coffee and tea sachets and additional towels if we needed. Although there was only one bathroom, it was spacious and had good heating so one does not feel cold coming out of the shower. Additionally, entering and exiting the apartment building via the large wooden castle-like doors added to the charm. The staff were also cheerful and took initiative to recommend points of interest and local restaurants. Would totally choose to stay here again, even if the place is a 15 minute walk from the bus station, because of its charm and proximity to the old town. "

"The hotel is situated in the Ljubljana city centre, very close to Kongresni trg and all the local attractions. My room had a king size bed and was very clean. Members of staff were very helpful. Great breakfast and really good evening meal. Great choice of local wines and beers."

"Everything about our stay was wonderful. Our room was large very large, which was much needed after a week of visiting other cities and staying in tiny rooms. It was comfortable - especially the temperature control. It seems that in most Euro hotels, the mode is controlled centrally, which is rough for cold sleepers in the fall/winter. We were able to have light air conditioning at night with a fan only during the day, which really aided our sleep! The room had a ton of windows, but the curtains kept it quite dark for when we wanted rest. The hotel itself was very quiet. Only two minor complaints: our first night, our television turned on and started playing the welcome screen around 2:30 in the morning. That was jarring and made our first night of sleep rough! Second, the photos here and on the website made it seem as though there might be a sitting area/couch/chaise in the room. None of the regular "twin" (two twins/one double) rooms have this. You have to upgrade to a suite if you want that. But we did have two chairs and a bench we sort of made into a couch/chaise. Otherwise, we'd absolutely return here. Also do yourself a favor and go downstairs across the street for a Burek. "
