This is an amazing and beautiful place filled with beautiful furnishings and common spaces. The spacious dining area with its beautiful wood furniture and table settings was unlike any place I’ve ever stayed. The included breakfast was lovely. Even though we spoke little Spanish, we were able to communicate as needed.

Excelente y original experiencia boutique

We stayed at Hotel Santa Cruz Plaza for five days with our family over the Chilean Independence Day holidays, and breakfast quickly became one of our favourite moments of the day.
I’ve travelled to more than 60 countries, stayed in many hotels around the world and done several cruises, and this is honestly one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had.
There is a fantastic variety of traditional Chilean and countryside-style food, fresh fruit, great coffee and something for everyone, including the...

Terra Vina is a nice hotel, just outside of town. It’s surrounded by vineyards, and is convenient to everything. The front desk staff is very helpful, and are “English Friendly “. They will make reservations for you, give helpful advice, and are all around a joy to interact with. The breakfast has fresh fruits, fresh breads, eggs, cereals, etc. We didn’t eat any other meals there. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We ate at Vino Bello, restaurant next door, and it was good and reasonably...

The breakfast was fantastic, and the servers were enthusiastically accommodating. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Simon at the front desk spoke excellent English and went above and beyond to assist us, making our experience even better. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This house was built beautifully and it was right on the sea. The owners cared to your every need and they were nice! The only major problem was the mosquitoes they bugged you in the night. Even though I highly recommend this place.

The best area to stay in Pumanque is the Colchagua Valley, particularly around the towns of Santa Cruz and Apalta.
The Colchagua Valley is renowned for its vineyards and wineries, making it the focal point for visitors to Pumanque. This area is characterized by rolling hills, expansive vineyards, and boutique accommodations, many of which are situated directly on winery estates. Santa Cruz serves as the valley's main hub, offering a central base with dining options and local shops, while Apalta is known for its more secluded, high-end winery experiences.
For couples seeking a romantic and indulgent getaway, staying directly at a winery in the Colchagua Valley is an excellent choice. Many of these estates offer luxurious rooms, gourmet dining experiences featuring local ingredients, and activities like private wine tastings and vineyard tours. The serene surroundings and focus on culinary excellence provide a ideal setting for a memorable trip.
Travelers interested in wine tourism and a relaxed, scenic escape will find the Colchagua Valley ideal. The region offers numerous opportunities to explore different wineries, learn about winemaking processes, and sample award-winning Chilean wines.

The best time to go to Pumanque is during the Chilean summer, from December to February, when the weather is warm and dry, great for outdoor activities.
This period offers consistent sunshine and pleasant temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the vineyards of the Colchagua Valley, which Pumanque borders. Many local wineries offer tours and tastings during these months, and the warm evenings are great for enjoying outdoor dining. Couples will find this season particularly appealing for a romantic getaway focused on wine tasting and scenic drives.
Shoulder seasons, like October-November (spring) and March-April (autumn), also offer good weather with fewer crowds. During these months, the temperatures are milder, and the landscape is often greener.
