“We stayed at VIK Chile for two nights to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The property is spectacular, with striking architecture, beautiful vineyards and breathtaking surroundings. It is a truly unique destination, and the staff were always welcoming, courteous and eager to help. However, considering the price and positioning of the hotel, we expected a more consistent luxury experience. “We chose this hotel for the indoor pool, only to find out it's not heated, nor open in their winter, even though it is indoors. Then we had the surprise of having to pay for a child with us, even though we had reserved and paid for a room with two beds. What they charged us was equivalent to what an entire stay at a cheap hotel in Chile would have cost us. The room was very spacious but the bathroom fan didn't work, which was unpleasant at times, if you know what I mean.”
