Lisa, the owner, treated us like old friends. The breakfast she puts out is delicious and varied. She even supplied gluten free options. The rooms are bright, clean and well maintained. The restaurant which is currently open 3 nights per week, should not be missed. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the room had a cozy, homey atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Upon arrival, we had dinner downstairs at Chez Pat. The meal was exceptional—every dish was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. As someone quite particular about food quality, I can easily tell when something is freshly made versus reheated, and everything we had here was clearly made with care. The hosts mentioned that all ingredients were locally sourced and prepared, which really showed in the quality. I highly recommend the duck confit—it was incredibly tender and bursting with flavor. Breakfast is neat and coffee is made by a higher-end Nespresso machine. The hotel was very nice. The owners were outstanding. We chose to stay in for the evening instead of going back out for dinner. Very relaxing evening with drinks, dinner, and dessert.The menu was varied and the quality was very good. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The owner had breakfast ready for us the next morning when we were ready to depart. Drive back to Levis, over to Quebec City and then up the river. The agent at the hotel was fully understanding of the issue and said she would wait for the request to cancel and refund fromEXPEDIA, Our refund was credited back the next day.
