Saltbox 12B is a country-style home that gives guests that rustic-style atmosphere that you expect out of a Vermont vacation. The decor will take you back to a simpler time and ease the transition from busy city to simple country life. The kitchen features a breakfast bar that overlooks the living room with a TV, a real fireplace, and large bay windows that overlook the Vermont scenic beauty. Off the back of the house lies a large wooden deck, which provides the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee and take in the natural beauty of the Green Mountains that lie just off of the home’s grounds.

This vacation home features a split-level floor plan. The shared spaces, kitchen, and deck access all lie on the lower floor, and the bedrooms on the upper floor. This is perfect for those who either want to go to bed early or stay up late without disturbing the other guests. The upper level consists of three bedrooms and two full baths, including the primary bedroom that has its own en suite.

Whatever time of year you decide to visit Vermont, you will enjoy Quechee’s spectacular views, convenience to recreational activities, and a comfortable feeling of luxury and seclusion. While offering the best of Vermont vacations, Quechee is convenient to Boston, New York, Albany, cultural and entertainment events, and nearby world-class health care (Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center).

The Quechee Club boasts two championship golf courses (Highland and Lakeland) in the summer which, in the winter, provide groomed Nordic skiing trails. In addition, Quechee offers tennis, paddle tennis, skiing, and an array of options for swimmers, hikers, and fishermen. The Club House has multiple dining options as well as a state-of-the-art fitness facility with indoor and outdoor pools. These Quechee Club amenities require rental packages and are available upon request from the Quechee Club directly.

Quechee is centrally located between Woodstock, Vermont, and Hanover, New Hampshire (home of Dartmouth College). Hanover and Woodstock combine the quaintness of beautiful New England villages with the cultural sophistication of a college town. Galleries, unique shops, museums, and a variety of excellent and unique dining experiences are available. Killington and Pico are approximately 30 minutes from Quechee and offer world-class skiing, mountain biking, golf, and other year-round activities.

THINGS TO KNOW



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
