“Everything was nice except the rooms was not what we booked. We booked for 3 families and we all got different size rooms which caused conflict. Also the fact that everywhere we went smelled cat pee cause their was so many cats.”

“A little oasis on an island that is already so beautiful on itself. Via a lush garden with all the flowers you could possibly spot on the island, we arrived in our home for a week. It fitted our family of 4 perfectly. We were welcomed with delicious home made breads and pastries, which we also enjoyed during breakfast in the "chapel". Helena spoiled us every time with fresh juices, home made marmelades, cinnamon rolls... The pool and jacuzzi are just amazing and perfect to relax in between many……

“Paulo was an incredible host, suggesting ideas for activities, hikes and restaurants. The bed was confortable and the room had everything you need. If you want to go to bed early or stay in bed late, don’t forget to bring your earplugs if you are in the main building because you can hear people at breakfast. The continental breakfast was complete with eggs, fruits, bread, cheese, ham, yogurt, cake, coffee and tea. There are even passionfruits from the garden sometimes! The pool in a nice……

“The location was good - the room had a nice view of the water BUT for us unfortunately, we had a horrible experience. We couldn't get hold of the host and Expedia help line did not answer my messages either (Expedia still never addressed our issue - all messages are u answered). I tried calling the host and they did not answer. We had no information about how to access our room. The host finally sent a txt while I was continually calling to say they couldn't answer the phone right now and……

“I could easily write paragraphs long reviews but am limited by characters. Thank you so much for having a kind, welcoming, and inviting inn. The shared kitchen is organized so nicely, the living space and deck are right at the waterfront - mere steps to the ocean and a five minute walk to a public swimming point. Our balcony overlooked all of this and we enjoyed sunsets night after night. The staff were so friendly - incredibly knowledgable, giving, caring and fun! Thank you Luisa for helping us……

“The Rock Guest House is a beautiful, well maintained facility. They served a wonderful continental breakfast and since we had to check out early, they provided us with a breakfast to go! Getting to the port was easy - just walk down the road. Going back was good exercise if you enjoy a gentle climb. We highly recommend it.”
