“Super Unterkunft. Die Küche war super ausgestattet, für jedes Zimmer ein Fach im Kühlschrank sowie Besteck und Geschirr, 2 Herde, Mikrowelle und genügend Töpfe und Pfannen. Zimmer 6, das wir gebucht hatten, ist relativ klein und zur Straße, wir haben vor Ort in Zimmer 3 gewechselt, auch die 4, 7 und 8 sind zu empfehlen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfreich, uns wurden gute Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants gegeben. Frühstück war gut, immer frisches Obst ”

“What a great spot if you want quiet and tranquility, the view was spectacular. Went for a nice walk in the morning along the bluff not a place to go if you do not have a car or don’t bring groceries with you. It’s a bit far out that is what I loved about it. ”

We stayed in early April and the weather was beautiful but unpredictable (as usual in the Azores) and our room stayed a comfortable temperature the entire time without using the thermostat. “We stayed at Santa Bárbara Eco-Beach Resort expecting a family-friendly experience, but it was completely unsuitable for traveling with a toddler. While I can see the appeal for adults seeking a quiet, remote retreat, there is very little for children to do. When the weather is poor—as it was during our stay—you are essentially stuck indoors with no meaningful activities. The layout adds to the difficulty. “Excellent Hotel with amazing staff, cannot fault them, but they do have an issue with meals for anyone outside of a large & planned group. If you don't mind simple food laden with cheese, then the Pool Bar is fine. If you want something before 8.30pm, then you have to go outside the Hotel. After 8.30pm, you can choose from the a la carte menu, which is exceptional. Anything in between, they cannot cater to you. Again, though, the staff is superb, first class. They will try to accommodate……
