"Absolutely incredible stay—honestly nicer than some five-star hotels I’ve stayed at, and for only \~$30 a night. The hotel is extremely new and spotless, the staff went above and beyond, and the service was flawless. They even stored my luggage for over a week while I traveled north for a yoga retreat (completely free), and welcomed me back again before my flight home. "Haveli Dharampura has all the charm you might dream of for a comfortable experience in the heart of Old Delhi. The restored Haveli is beautiful, and the rooms are comfortable, with modern bathrooms. Meals are served in a courtyard, where musicians play (sitar, drums, wooden flute) during lunch and dinner; dinner sometimes has a dance performance. The food is very good and you can feel assured of its quality. Just before sunset the staff hosts lessons in kite fighting on the rooftop patio. The staff were all very helpful and attentive. It is an expensive hotel, but delightful. The minute I stepped through the (ornate) doorway I was charmed."
