There was not much to like. The room was clean, and that is the only positive thing about the whole experience. The doors are locked at all times, and customers are not allowed visitors. It is in a sketchy part of time. You can
t get into the frot door of the hotel without the staff letting you in (they are not at the window, had to ring a buzzer to get someone). Had to pay a $50.00 deposit that was not listed on Expedia when I booked. This was a separate charge by the Hotel incase the room smelled like cigarettes when you left. Hotel guest was seen smoking right outside the entrance of the hotel.
The front desk person was rude over the phone when asked why my card was carged inadvance of my stay. She blammed me, and said I had registered to pay in advance of stay, (which I never do) and that I had to contact Expedia. She yelled at me over the phone, and I had to ask to speak to the manager. He was cordial. I will report this unprofessional employee to Wyndham corporate.
I not sure I will stay at another Wyndam hotel. I have had good experience with Wyndam before, but this hotel in Raleigh NC is horrible.
