“The room was not cleaned during our 3 night stay although I complained. The musty smell on the 1st floor was horrid and the breakfast was a disaster. The staff had no idea about food allergens and when asked is this gluten free the response was I think so and walked off. Shocking stay.”

“Well maintained old Victorian building with lovely staff who were more than happy to help with any requests or act on any feedback. Good views and use of gardens, amazing breakfast. Well located with easy walk into Peel and round the corner from hidden gem the Cathedral. ”

“The room needed some attention. The view of the bay was blocked by a blind that was broken. No staff seen except morning breakfast which was not exceptional in anyway. Loved the Isle of Man (beautiful island with great public transportation )but would choose a different accommodation next time.”

“When you first arrive the outside appearance of the hotel is terrible. Paint peeling off, name letters missing, and plaster falling off. However, all the public areas are excellent internally. I had a standard twin which was fine, although the shower was quite old and inflexible. The beds were very comfortable and so otherwise the room was fine. The sea view makes it!!!!! I stayed 6 days, so I felt my room should have been refreshed more than once, but that was a personal gripe. The food was……
