A perfect opportunity for a peaceful and relaxing stay with all major tourist attractions within easy reach. In addition to the private garden with outdoor seating, guests can also enjoy our alpacas, ponies, chickens and woodland. This cosy cottage offers 1 double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with shower over and tiled flooring. The open-plan living area has a leather sofa and oak flooring, a TV, Freeview, wifi, DVD and dining area. The kitchen area offers a gas cooker, microwave, integrated fridge, separate freezer and dishwasher. An enclosed small lawn with patio furniture. The accommodation was clean and cosy, just what we were looking for. Iain and Julia were fantastic hosts, from helping us avoid the pitfalls of satnav to get there, recommending local walks and pubs and allowing us to meet and feed the animals. The site was very central and we had numerous options available to us for dog walks. We had everything we needed and our hosts were on hand but not intrusive. We arrived late in the evening to find lights on and fresh eggs, along with coffee, tea and milk. The directions given were great and essential. We had our dog with us so the only disappointment was the garden whilst private was not secure and with so many animals close by she had to be on a lead the whole time. There are no safe walks close by but loads a short car journey away.
