Private Room With Pub Lounge on Site! - Check Hours!

10/10 Excellent
"My husband and I decided to make an impromptu next day trip to northern Maine in search of tall pines and togetherness as we celebrate 29 years of marriage. We didn’t spend much time looking for places to stay because Chris’ place offered all we needed and at an unbelievably affordable rate. We were able to enjoy some good food, great beer, excellent company with locals, and then retreat to our very clean room just steps away for a night of rest (THIS was everything). On a chilly fall night, the warm room was much appreciated! Check-in was effortless, and Chris is easy going, attentive, super nice, and accommodating, He has a great sense of humor too which is well-reflected within the physical and atmospheric environment of the establishment, Our only regret was in wishing we could have stayed another night. We would definitely return- THANK YOU!!!"

"This small motel was very clean and the gentleman at the office was very friendly. I enjoyed my stay and was very comfortable. My room showed a few signs of wear and tear (mismatched towels, a couple with holes in them; several areas where the bathroom walls were very scraped up), but these did not affect the quality of my stay. One concern I had was that there was only a deadbolt lock on the door, no secondary lock such as a chain lock."

"We loved the short stay. For those traveling here would recommend an SUV or truck. It is off-grid and a vehicle with minimal ground clearance may have have an issue navigating the dirt road. Wish we had more time."

"Had truly a great stay. Paddling around the lake in kayaks, having a wonderful fire under the full moon and grilling dinner on the porch. Our dog had a great stay too! Really nice pebbly beach for the pups and yourself to take a dip. And don't sleep on Houlton Dairy chocolate milk at the Millyard"
