Top Reynivellir Hotel Reviews
Hotel Smyrlabjorg
"It's an amazing hotel with a great restaurant with vegetarian options available and a generous complimentary breakfast buffet selection."
Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon
"Enjoyed the hot tubs and sauna. The rooms are very nice and are designed with low light so light pollution doesn't affect your ability to see the northern lights. However, night time means you don't have any bright lights in your room, except for small directional lights near the bed and desk. Breakfast was very good, lots of selections. Dinner was also very good, but the service was a little slow if you pick the multi-course meals."
Ekra Glacier Lagoon
"Very nice studio in a great location to sights. Advertising should show the actual units advertised instead of the owners home."
Guesthouse Skálafell
"A beautiful property located close to many things. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very kind and welcoming. It felt very cozy and homey and I was sad to leave!"
Hótel Jokulsarlon - Glacier Lagoon Hotel
"What a wonderful experience here!! Every part of the experience was outstanding - the customer service, the divers, the gorgeous location, the dreamy-comfortable bed. This was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had in 40-plus years of travel."
Kálfafellsstaður Guesthouse
"Shared bath was clean, accommodated my late arrival, good wifi, and plenty of privacy. It's only a few minutes a way from the boat tours if you're interested in that. Would definitely recommend for travelers in the south."
Guesthouse Stekkatún
"The staff was super nice going extra mile to get gluten free bread for my wife. Free breakfast was nice. And it turned out to be a nice place to see Northern Lights right from the yard!"
Guesthouse Gerði
"The room was clean with a nice view of the coastal area with grazing sheep just outside. The food at the restaurant was top notch and locally sourced. The outside of the guesthouse was eclectic with a main check in and housing area with a connected dining area, and a long building with several rooms as well as some newer looking separate cabins. We stayed in the long building in a triple that had 3 twin beds. The room was clean and everything worked well. The people that worked there were extremely courteous, helpful and friendly. I would stay there again. I thought that it was a value considering the prices that rooms on this part of Iceland go for."
Old Cottage - Reynivellir II
"Clean and no frills hotel used during our road-trip through Iceland. Received instructions on how to pick up keys at a different location. We didn't realize that the bathroom was to be shared (knew about the kitchen). Water temperature was confusing as it immediately became extremely hot and then cold if you are not careful."
