"We love Big Timbers! It is very near to Itasca State Park, and a beautiful drive to get there. The cabin is very "cabin-y," yet has enough comforts to keep us comfortable! It's great to have a cabin with a sizable refrigerator and a full kitchen. Thank you for the great family vacation spot!"

"Beautiful lodging and location. We enjoyed the firepit, the hot tub, and the view of the lake. We made dinner and breakfast in the well stocked kitchen. There were many thoughtful touches such as a wagon to help us bring supplies from the car to the unit."

"We had the best time with our 3 kids. The hosts were very thoughtful. We rented bikes at Itasca for the afternoon and came back for a swim in the clean, fresh lake. Our kids spent many hours fishing and we enjoyed morning coffee with the humming birds! The glamper was spacious and had everything we needed! We highly recommend this beautiful stay in the forest."

"This was exactly what we needed. It was so peaceful, cozy, and comfortable, and being right on the lake made it even better. We were able to slow down, relax, and just enjoy spending time together.The Jeff & Karen were wonderful- very kind, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. They really thought of everything, and it made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.The girls had so much fun fishing (we caught a variety of fish), hiking at Itasca State Park (we seen a beaver, moth hummingbird, and even a bear from a distance), spotting wildlife at the cabin (otter, eagles, hummingbirds, squirrels, & turkeys), and taking the pedal boat out on the lake. It was so nice seeing them put their phones down and enjoy the outdoors. Bailey & Olaf were a bonus- their dogs were so fun and adorable!We left feeling rested, refreshed, and wishing we could have stayed longer. We’d definitely come back and would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet getaway to recharge. THANK YOU SO MUCH!"

"Excellent place to stay, just a few minutes from the north entrance to the park, as described . Very close to the headwaters and the Lake Itasca swimming beach. The host is lovely. Very comfy and cozy, quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Amazing view - wrap around porch outstanding! Listening to loons and water breathtaking! Cabin could use some updates and the kitchen more utensils, but overall good way to get in touch with nature! Great fishing for all ages! Furnitures also was well worn but still worked! The walk to the dock and water can be a bit tricky with steep path and loose stone steps. The hot tub and sauna are the best! Healing at its finest! Come prepared to relax and enjoy the cabin and outdoors!"
