"The host met us during check-in and check-out and once during our stay. We appreciated his accessibility and desire to help ensure a 5-star experience. I noted in one review prior to our arrival someone asked for a wagon to carry things down to the dock. Sure enough, a wagon was available for us when we arrived. We didn't use the wagon but appreciated the owners' responsiveness to feedback. The only improvement I might suggest is flatter pillows. I slept with a towel because the pillows were a little too fluffy for this stomach sleeper. Nonetheless, the trip will be remembered for the luxury lake-side living it was. Thank you!"

"We stayed at this beautiful cabin on Long Lost Lake for our anniversary, and it was truly the perfect getaway! When the hosts found out we were celebrating, they even surprised us with a thoughtful gift, which made our stay feel extra special.The cabin is beautifully designed and decorated with a modern rustic feel, gorgeous woodwork, and all the amenities we needed. We especially loved relaxing on the screened-in porch with the hot tub and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.Having use of the pontoon was such a great bonus! One of our hosts even took us out for a quick tour and showed us some of the best fishing spots on the lake. Long Lost Lake is so quiet and serene—it truly feels like an escape from everything.The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. This was such a peaceful and memorable anniversary getaway, and one we will never forget. We would absolutely love to come back!"

"This was exactly what we needed. It was so peaceful, cozy, and comfortable, and being right on the lake made it even better. We were able to slow down, relax, and just enjoy spending time together.The Jeff & Karen were wonderful- very kind, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. They really thought of everything, and it made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.The girls had so much fun fishing (we caught a variety of fish), hiking at Itasca State Park (we seen a beaver, moth hummingbird, and even a bear from a distance), spotting wildlife at the cabin (otter, eagles, hummingbirds, squirrels, & turkeys), and taking the pedal boat out on the lake. It was so nice seeing them put their phones down and enjoy the outdoors. Bailey & Olaf were a bonus- their dogs were so fun and adorable!We left feeling rested, refreshed, and wishing we could have stayed longer. We’d definitely come back and would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet getaway to recharge. THANK YOU SO MUCH!"

"Excellent place to stay, just a few minutes from the north entrance to the park, as described . Very close to the headwaters and the Lake Itasca swimming beach. The host is lovely. Very comfy and cozy, quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Amazing view - wrap around porch outstanding! Listening to loons and water breathtaking! Cabin could use some updates and the kitchen more utensils, but overall good way to get in touch with nature! Great fishing for all ages! Furnitures also was well worn but still worked! The walk to the dock and water can be a bit tricky with steep path and loose stone steps. The hot tub and sauna are the best! Healing at its finest! Come prepared to relax and enjoy the cabin and outdoors!"
