Although a very old property they are doing a good job trying to keep it up. The biggest issue was they don't have charging stations or outlets in or near the nightstand. We had to use outlets on the wall far away. If you’re like me, you want your phone within arms reach. The bathroom was clean but could use a grab bar to get in/out of the tub shower. The a/c worked great and wasn’t overly loud. Our room faced the gas station but it wasn’t as loud as I thought it might be. The bed was clean and comfortable.

This was an okay place to stay for 1 night if needed in a hurry. I wouldn’t stay longer than a day. The room had a damp foul odor. The front desk tried to accommodate as best as they could but wouldn’t visit again. The food was ok as well.

We really enjoyed our stay last weekend here at the Raddison. Lovely location right off I95 made it super easy to get to Kings Dominion and Richmond. Hotel smelled extra clean upon arrival and throughout our stay. Hotel staff was friendly and super helpful when our key wouldn’t work (be careful holding it near your phone!). Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, don’t expect a 5*, more of a grab and go with a waffle station and rotation of hot items throughout the stay (eggs and sausage Saturday, gravy biscuits Sunday). Our main issue and this could just be poor planning on my part was rowdy guest on the second floor, lots of teens in as if there was some kind of competition or sporting event going on. Issue was addressed with staff but kids will be kids so not too much could be done besides removing them from the hotel completely. Overall we would consider booking here again for a future trip to Kings Dominion/Richmond.

Overall, my stay was okay, and the staff was courteous and accommodating. When I mentioned that my room had a strong urine smell, they promptly moved me to another room, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the second room also had a noticeable urine odor. Everything else about the stay was acceptable, but the persistent smell made it difficult to relax and enjoy the room. I hope management addresses this issue, as it significantly affects the guest experience.

Had to do a late check in, was given a room that had water leaking, smelled extremely musty and the floors were wet. Never had such an experience. Had to move rooms again late at night and the staff was barely apologetic. I do not understand how such a room could be rented out especially when the assumption is that rooms are checked and cleaned before giving out to someone. Would not recommend. Mold exposure is not what I expect from a paid hotel stay.

Great experience. Right off of I95. We checked in late, (2310) and the Front Desk Employee was so helpful and pleasant. Helping us get a crib for our smallest kiddo. The building inside and out was so quiet, very clean and bed was comfortable. Comfortable climate, breakfast we didn’t have but smelled good on the way out. Simple stay while traveling for us and kiddos, but allowed us to rest and restore before traveling onward
