“This beautiful log cabin is perched in the hills where the deck catches the mountain breezes. Bring binoculars for birdwatching! We lived on that deck! The air conditioning is once for sleeping, and the kitchen is small but functional. The drive up to the cabin from the main house is very steep, but we made it up without 4 wheel drive since I am used to driving up hills in snow and ice! If you are not, rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle. “Al contanctar al anfitrión para pedirle la dirección y demás indicaciones para el uso de la cabaña, él no tenía ni idea de que habíamos reservado, cuando ya hasta se me había generado el cargo a la tarjeta de crédito!!! Creo que fue por pura casualidad que la propiedad no estuviera ocupada y tuviéramos que buscar otro hospedaje, porque nos aseguró que no tenía ninguna reservación hecha por medio Expedia o Vrbo, lo cual es extraño por que la cabaña está en la plataforma y los datos del……

“This property was private and secluded. Just what we were looking for. It was clean, cozy with spectacular views. This was a peaceful retreat with many sounds of nature. Property owner was very responsive and helpful. ”

“Claire and Bud (the owners) couldnt have done more for us. They were staying further up the road and I was able to use their pool which was a treat. The cabin has everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and although it was rainy season it was still wonderful - we could sit on the decking and watch the forest / sea and listen to the rain. The sea view is amazing and we saw some monkeys and other wildlife in the trees around us. Just one thing to consider, if you are coming in rainy……

“At first the initial drive seemed very long, it is like 8 miles total, approx, but after driving it 12 times it got better/easier. And being so remote there are mucho other homes up there. Beautiful views to the oceanon the south, to the north, waterfalls and mountains.”
