room comfort and location were great. quality of housekeeping should be checked more often it would appear as we were basically out of body wash in the shower and hand soap at the bathroom sink. as i come prepared the dribble we did use up worked out fine for our overnight stay. shower could have used a lil emphasis as well. overall good for location, price and ease of booking.

The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The hotel was beautiful and luxurious and definitely worth another stay. The daytime staff was friendly and kind and welcoming. The nighttime staff was a little off putting but maybe she was having a bad day. Just felt like we were bothering her. I would definitely recommend this hotel to people looking for a nice little getaway.

I booked a beautiful premium queen room at the Winder 97 Inn through Expedia. Expedia showed me the room I was going to get and I was to pay at the property 10/11/2026. However my card was charged on 10/9/2026. When I got to the hotel and got my room keys the room was nothing like the victors. It was super small, no fire place, no bathtub, all white versus colorful, and a tiny window versus many large windows. When I went to speak with the manage and showed her what room I ordered she said they are fully booked and Expedia gave me whatever was left over, but I couldn’t change rooms. Not to mention, the room smelled strongly of chemicals it made me sick. When I called Expedia to go over the concerns, they said they would contact the location. When they spoke to the Inn the manager told them it was their fault for not giving us what we paid for and for charging us early but we couldn’t get a refund from them we needed to get it from Expedia. Expedia said the Inn needed to give it. The manager became very upset started yelling at us and said she wanted to see what we booked. This created and unsafe hostile environment. I tired to explain to the manager that we were trying to deal with the issue through Expedia but she kept yelling at us. We told Expedia it was unsafe to stay with how she was acting and with how the room we paid for was given to another guest. Expedia and the Inn both refused to take responsibility and we were left without somewhere to stay.
