Plan your next getaway to the Oregon Coast at this dog-friendly vacation home in beautiful Rockaway Beach. After days spent strolling, collecting seashells, and building sandcastles, you'll come home to wonderful amenities that include a private hot tub and a gas grill outside. You'll also be treated to an electric fireplace, all the comforts of home, and an excellent location within easy walking distance of the beach!

A beach access point awaits a quarter-mile west, allowing you to easily spend your time swimming, surfing, and sunbathing. Downtown Rockaway Beach is less than a mile north, where you'll find plenty of dining options to please your group, fun shops to browse, and much more. You can also take a ride on the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad to the fishing village of Garibaldi, where you can visit the marina and grab some fresh seafood to bring home.

Cozy home, great location
Overall our stay was very nice. The location is great to walk to the beach, Pronto Pup corn dogs a few blocks away, and in a quiet neighborhood. It’s also only a few minutes drive to the scenic train station. The house is cozy and hottub was a bonus. As others said, the code to unlock the hottub was a challenge to find & the company didn’t know it either when I called. (It is on a hottub info sheet on the wall by the front door, not written clearly as a lock code but looks like year.) The electric fireplace downstairs was nice- we couldn’t get the upstairs one to turn on. Beds were ok, pots and pans have outlived their lives, and I let the company know the can opener doesn’t work. But we had all we needed for an enjoyable weekend in Rockaway Beach.

Check in at 4 and not ready. Dirty!
Our check in was late . The lady cleaning showed up and had her cat and was smoking in unit. We found blueberries in the hide a bed . The hide a bed completely worn out along with other beds worn and smelling of cigarettes. Pics aren't resemblance of unit. They dont show the nasty single wide beside unit. Also dining chairs filthy and uncomfortable. We checked out early.

Loved our stay here. We felt right at home. The hot tub was nice! The linen smelled fresh and the beds were comfortable. The upstairs deck was lovely in the morning. Only recommendation is the lawn needed mowing

Terrible experience with next door neighbor
The next door neighbor is a very nosy and rude old man who yelled profanities at myself as well as my wife and made us feel very uncomfortable to hang outside in the front of the house for our entire stay. This happened on multiple occasions.

Not as advertised
The house itself is in a wonderful location. Just a quick walk to Pronto Pup and just across the street from beach access. The house it advertised to sleep 10 people but only has seating outside for 2. If you are going to advertise that, you should have a bit more seating outside. I had to tell the others in my party arriving late to bring their own chairs. And from other reviews that had issues with the dining room chairs, ya that issue has still not been resolved. It was one of the first nicer weekends down at the coast and our fire pit area was not maintained. The grass was probably 10 inches high, we had to stomp around it to get it low enough to enjoy the fire. The bunk beds are unsafe. They are very unsteady and I wouldn’t trust a small child on the top in fear it will collapse. Cobwebs were everywhere around the hot tub and some spots in the bathroom. Communication was the worst. Tried asking about where a hot tub key was since it was locked and didn’t hear back until 4am and with incorrect information. FYI, it’s on the wall next to the door, not in a drawer like Vrbo advised. I also tried extending my stay and after talks with 2 people that said it was available, when I tried to finalize it via the app, they told me it was unavailable. It was frustrating with all the back and forth and then when I was finalizing it, they said it wasn’t available anymore.

Great for Families
The place was extremely clean and spacious for a family! The family room had games and books and streaming tv, things that al our kids used while here. The kitchen had all amenities needed which made cooking meals easy and stress free. The bbq, hot tub, jacuzzi bathtub, and washer/dryer were in excellent working condition and made our trip even better! Would definitely stay again!

Less than expected
Pictures of the outdoor area were not exactly how they looked in real life. Would’ve liked to use the fire pit but the outdoor space was terribly unkept. The kitchen was not well equipped, In fact we purchased coffee cups because we didn’t have enough. No travel shampoo/conditioner or soap in the upstairs bathroom and the jets in the upstairs bath tub were dirty. We decided not to use the washing machine because of a foul odor in the drum. The 2 chairs in the living room were so worn and lumpy we couldn’t use them for seating…….all in all, I couldn’t recommend this property.

Coral Cottage exceeded expectations
We loved our stay. The home was spa ious, had everything we needed and was situated in a sweet and quiet neighborhood that was a short walk to the beach. We all enjoyed the hot tub and will definitely return.
