Plan your next getaway to the Oregon Coast at this dog-friendly vacation home in beautiful Rockaway Beach. After days spent strolling, collecting seashells, and building sandcastles, you'll come home to wonderful amenities that include a private hot tub and a gas grill outside. You'll also be treated to an electric fireplace, all the comforts of home, and an excellent location within easy walking distance of the beach!

A beach access point awaits a quarter-mile west, allowing you to easily spend your time swimming, surfing, and sunbathing. Downtown Rockaway Beach is less than a mile north, where you'll find plenty of dining options to please your group, fun shops to browse, and much more. You can also take a ride on the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad to the fishing village of Garibaldi, where you can visit the marina and grab some fresh seafood to bring home.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Cozy home, great location
Overall our stay was very nice. The location is great to walk to the beach, Pronto Pup corn dogs a few blocks away, and in a quiet neighborhood. It’s also only a few minutes drive to the scenic train station. The house is cozy and hottub was a bonus. As others said, the code to unlock the hottub was a challenge to find & the company didn’t know it either when I called. (It is on a hottub info sheet on the wall by the front door, not written clearly as a lock code but looks like year.) The electric fireplace downstairs was nice- we couldn’t get the upstairs one to turn on. Beds were ok, pots and pans have outlived their lives, and I let the company know the can opener doesn’t work. But we had all we needed for an enjoyable weekend in Rockaway Beach.

Our check in was late . The lady cleaning showed up and had her cat and was smoking in unit. We found blueberries in the hide a bed . The hide a bed completely worn out along with other beds worn and smelling of cigarettes. Pics aren't resemblance of unit. They dont show the nasty single wide beside unit. Also dining chairs filthy and uncomfortable. We checked out early.

Loved our stay here. We felt right at home. The hot tub was nice! The linen smelled fresh and the beds were comfortable. The upstairs deck was lovely in the morning. Only recommendation is the lawn needed mowing

Terrible experience with next door neighbor
The next door neighbor is a very nosy and rude old man who yelled profanities at myself as well as my wife and made us feel very uncomfortable to hang outside in the front of the house for our entire stay. This happened on multiple occasions.

Not as advertised
The house itself is in a wonderful location. Just a quick walk to Pronto Pup and just across the street from beach access. The house it advertised to sleep 10 people but only has seating outside for 2. If you are going to advertise that, you should have a bit more seating outside. I had to tell the others in my party arriving late to bring their own chairs. And from other reviews that had issues with the dining room chairs, ya that issue has still not been resolved. It was one of the first nicer weekends down at the coast and our fire pit area was not maintained. The grass was probably 10 inches high, we had to stomp around it to get it low enough to enjoy the fire. The bunk beds are unsafe. They are very unsteady and I wouldn’t trust a small child on the top in fear it will collapse. Cobwebs were everywhere around the hot tub and some spots in the bathroom. Communication was the worst. Tried asking about where a hot tub key was since it was locked and didn’t hear back until 4am and with incorrect information. FYI, it’s on the wall next to the door, not in a drawer like Vrbo advised. I also tried extending my stay and after talks with 2 people that said it was available, when I tried to finalize it via the app, they told me it was unavailable. It was frustrating with all the back and forth and then when I was finalizing it, they said it wasn’t available anymore.

Great for Families
The place was extremely clean and spacious for a family! The family room had games and books and streaming tv, things that al our kids used while here. The kitchen had all amenities needed which made cooking meals easy and stress free. The bbq, hot tub, jacuzzi bathtub, and washer/dryer were in excellent working condition and made our trip even better! Would definitely stay again!

Less than expected
Pictures of the outdoor area were not exactly how they looked in real life. Would’ve liked to use the fire pit but the outdoor space was terribly unkept. The kitchen was not well equipped, In fact we purchased coffee cups because we didn’t have enough. No travel shampoo/conditioner or soap in the upstairs bathroom and the jets in the upstairs bath tub were dirty. We decided not to use the washing machine because of a foul odor in the drum. The 2 chairs in the living room were so worn and lumpy we couldn’t use them for seating…….all in all, I couldn’t recommend this property.

We loved our stay. The home was spa ious, had everything we needed and was situated in a sweet and quiet neighborhood that was a short walk to the beach. We all enjoyed the hot tub and will definitely return.

Great beach access
Checking in was a breeze and the place was well appointed and clean. Sleeping was great except for the pullout bed upstairs (ouch)-may need to update that one. Location is spot on and away from the main scene - good if you want a quite beach. Didn’t find an axe to use even though the pics show a fire pit. Great to have a BBQ, however it was in need of a new grill, still managed to make most of our meals on it. Oh, the kitchen chairs were in need of some repair from a professional upholstery company as we nearly fell through a couple of seats - this would be the one fix that I would recommend fixing before anything else. Good stay overall!

Annual Beach Vacation
The house is in a good central location, close to Tillamook, the 3 Graces tide pools,agate beach and other locations. We usually rent further south like Lincoln city or Newport but wanted a shorter drive. The proximity and access to the beach were good. My mother, who suffered from a serious accident a couple of years ago was able to walk down and access the beach fairly easily. The hot tub, though small was a huge plus for my 10 yr old (who thinks he is a seal) and for my husband. The set up of the house was nice, having a bedroom on the ground level for my mother and a bathroom was great. A couple of small suggestions 1. Buy more silverware…8 forks is not enough and I hate to run a half empty dishwasher ( and yes I know I could wash them by hand by prefer not to waste water and prefer to use a dishwasher to get them really clean) 2. Buy a couple of decent frying pans. 2 of the 3 were warped and cooking with them on an electric stove was difficult Oh and some lids that fit the frying pans and the other pans… found 6 lids but could only find one cook pot that it fit 3. Buy some serving spoons. The only large spoon we found was a soup ladle 4. Bean bags for upstairs 5. The 2 chairs in the living room gave my mother a “spring enema” meaning she could feel the springs through the chairs. So when some stuffing or foam would be helpful in them. 6. The dining chairs are like sitting on a very padded toilet seat… just put boards underneath the recovered cushions. (I am assuming when they were recovered this was not done so you sink into them. Lastly maybe a bigger bed, my husband is 6’ 4” but the beds were comfortable:) Lots of towels, nice space The house was very clean, quiet neighborhood, short walk to beach, we enjoyed ourselves!!! So happy we could have our dog with us. The beach is dog friendly:) Now I just need some tips on how to find whole sand dollars

Easy going beach house
Overall the location and property are good and met our needs for a relaxing family beach exploration. The pictures certainly make the yard and house look fresher and more manicured than it is, but it is not a bad property. The neighborhood has a certain charm, a combination of carefree beach ownership and country with wild blackberry bushes, grass, trees, etc. The house itself has all you might want, but the beds linens, etc are not luxury. This is a decent place to stay, and the focus is really on the amazing proximity to the beach and nature.

2 friends and I enjoyed our stay at coral cottage. the house layout was perfect since i had a broken leg and used the first floor bedroom and bath. nice big kitchen, hot tub was already on and hot. we would have liked to have had a coffee table in the upper tv room, since we spent most of our time there. (i crawled up the stairs on my good leg). nice place, quiet neighborhood, but not a lot of restaurants in the near vacinity.

Empty promises, empty hot tub!
We wanted a beach house with a hot tub, that was also walking distance to the beach. The house was advertised to have a private hot tub, however it didn't have any water in it. We called the number provided and we were told that Vacasa would "put a note in to the local managers", who would then call us to figure out the solution. We are now home from our four day vacation, and still no call. We paid for a house with a hot tub, that was falsely advertised. Our first night getting into bed, we realized that our bed was actually broken. The foot board on our bed was not attached and broken beyond repair, which made the bed slope downward. I woke up many times with the end of the mattress at my shins because I had slid down the mattress because of the angle. We have twin one and a half years olds. My son found a two inch wood screw, and a chewed up pipette that he had found on the floor and luckily brought to us and didn't put in his own mouth. The kitchen and living space was good, however there were cobwebs in the kitchen corners, and it was missing basic things like foil. The jetted tub was nice, but the water turns cold before the tub is even half way filed. Overall, we were not impressed with what the house advertised for the money that we paid. We would not recommend this house to anyone.

Delightful home
We experienced a power outage this morning at 5am and had to leave to get coffee! We received no check out details, ie: run a load of laundry, dishwasher etc so we feel guilty nothing was done. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and hope to come back! The furniture could use a cleaning we noticed stains but, who doesn’t have that? Haha. Thank you so much.
