"I booked the hotel based on location. The breakfast was average, not sure if the eggs were powdered eggs. The room was clean. The window screen was broken, luckily it was too early for bugs."

"The property is located in the heart of downtown Kitchener and this is a plus and includes paid on site parking. Restaurants like The Bauer Kitchen and Darlise Cafe nearby and they were great spots. Park nearby also a plus. The Aqua Restaurant in the hotel had a great buffet breakfast where you can order fresh made eggs. I used the spa for Indian head massage and enjoyed the treatment. However the rooms need a facelift. The bed was comfortable and there was no noise in the area where we were however the bathroom was tight, took time for water to become hot and the furnishings were outdated on our 4th floor unit. Also we had no control over the temperature in the room…tried to put some heat on but got air conditioning instead."

"Because we were there on a holiday Monday we assumed the breakfast would be open for weekend hours. We were down at 9:15 and told them that 13 more from our party were coming down. They said they closed breakfast at 9:30. But, the lovely lady in charge of breakfast hustled to add fresh food and set up tables. That was pretty incredible. Some of the clean up staff gave us side eye, but it worked out."

"Property was being cleaned on our arrival which was nice to see.Beds although were tidy they all had issues from large bed wetting stains to other unknown (maybe sweat stains?) this was unpleasant to the point we ordered new bedding from Walmart before going to sleep. Once the smell of cleaning products cleared we noticed cigarette smoke/smell emanating from the basement tenants. Only to be much worse by the morning as the whole home smelt like an ashtray. We couldn't remain in the house with the cigarette smoke so we decided to leave after only one night. The host would only refund two nights from our original booking of five nights. Further to this the host applied the refund before telling me. Not recommended unless you don't mind heavily used bedding/mattresses and the smoke in a non-smoking property."

"Very cozy and quiet, nestled away in the city. The hosts were incredible, communication was perfect, the unit was very clean and well stocked. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants quiet comfort but not too far from everything you need in the city. I wish we would have had more time to enjoy the firepit but we had a full weeks trip planned already. 10/10 "

"The house was comfortable, well equipped and spacious. All amenities were provided. My one concern was the check-in time of 5:00 p.m. It's late and was hard on my young grandchildren. I was told an earlier check-in might be possible but there was no confirmation despite a couple messages."

"We never met the host but any questions we had were answered. Amenties overall were ok. Cleanliness on arrival was a disaster. Apart from that our 2 year old daughter starting coughing after a week and after our doctors visit in Malta yesterday, he confirmed that she has ashma and an infection in per wind pipe due to dust mites from carpets.We informed the Host about the cleanliness issue, but all we got was that he will take it up with his cleaning company. On arrival we did a lot of cleaning rather than not accepting to stay there.We also sent him photos of the dirt coming off by us after wiping certain areas."
